535822 tn?1443980380 That's a pretty special part to a guy. Having a problem with that certian part could lead to not being able to use that part, and that's a very unwelcome thought for most guys. I got ring worm down there one time and screamed like a little girl when I noticed it on the restroom at work.
649848 tn?1534637300 You bet your sweet behind medical personnel are biased against women, ranging from not taking our complaints as seriously as they do men's to thinking that we are to blame for our weight issues (poor diet/lack of exercise, etc), not other factors. I had this very discussion with someone earlier in the week and it's a fact that if a man were to go to a doctor or ER with some of the same complaints we go with, they would be taken much more seriously than they are when we present them.
Avatar f tn I know its not hormonal, I thought it might be stress but I've actually been less stressed so I'm not sure that makes sense. Its not Pantene Pro-V cause I used that for years until I switched to Tresseme...the only conclusion I've come to is that it must be a sort of "detox" for my hair.
Avatar m tn i will schedule an appointment for a hematologist this week if you think that will help. is that the standard test urine test for gono and chlamydia molecular testing.i read things and have trouble keeping it sorted out in my mind.i was also wondering if adenoviruses could play a part in this.should i stop suggesting ideas to my drs and leave it up to them i fear i wont be able to hear or see if this persists another 8 months.walking short distances can cause muscle pain.
Avatar n tn I remember a holistic MD who did that and saw an article by the previous surgeon general Everett Koop advocating it. Just a thought as you sound like you are not eager for surgery yet. I have read things that imply not much difference for herniated discs whether you have surgery or not, maybe you could get some objective stats on that. It sounds like your quality of life is not affected alot as you are very active so it may be worth waiting or trying alternatives for awhile longer.
Avatar m tn If you are good about taking care of the kids, and helpful (not critical) around the house, she is probably not doing this out of resentment. Usually when the husband is loving with the child or children, the wife loves him for it. Best suggestion is to go to a therapist together, and lay it out the way you did here. If she won't, see if she will go on vacation alone with you, a nice long weekend at a resort. And talk about it.
Avatar n tn I'd prefer to think that the cure for my problems would not be by putting more chemicals on my face, but by putting better nutrienmts inside my body, creating the conditions for it to heal itself. My only reason for posting this is that this itchiness problem can seem soul destroying, so maybe there is an alternative line of possibilities to investigate.... best wishes to you all. http://naturalmedicine.suite101.com/article.
Avatar n tn When we first started dating I was really nervous that he would not find it attractive. I think that most people feel this way for some reason or the other... Too large labia, too much hair, shape/color of nipples. Guys are just as guilty, they worry that they are too small or too hairy, uncircumsized or crooked.
Avatar f tn My doc seemed to think this is not a big deal and that I just need to taper off instead of stopping cold turkey. But I admit I had a total panic day over this. So, since I was taking the amount prescribed and never taking more than the maximum amoount prescribed, he seems to think my withdrawal won't last as long as some of the stories I've read about months of withrdawal problems.
Avatar f tn , if it's Hilary and Mitt or, whoever, (not that I'm advocating for anybody in particular-mind you), and make them see that there are a lot of us out there that we have a voice, would that make any difference? If nobody ever says anything, that will certainly NOT make a difference, don't you think? I'm sure that once we find out who those candidates are, that there will be some contact information posted on line w/an address for their campaign contact information, somewhere - don't you think?
380530 tn?1239166138 There is something to be said about good timing. I hope this is the month for you and that I will not be too far behind you. Magda: You will be in my thoughts tomorrow. HeathJo: Good luck with the IUI.
401786 tn?1309155634 Oh I don't think I will fall this time.Mary wasn't able to get the peanut butter totally off the heels so that should give me some grip...
Avatar n tn Hi JerseyGirl.... I am SO happy you got my post! I was hoping somebody would see it. Thank you so much for the response!! -Everything you say makes a lot of sense! Except, I am currently taking an oral anitfungal... its generic Lamosil in pill form (darn toenail fell off and I didnt want fungus to grow). Do you think that the pill would treat a scalp fungus??? Also, I have even more unsetteling news. The day I posted that, I went to shower.
Avatar f tn Also had a liver biopsy in May 08, but did not get results back yet.Add high blood pressure and high cholesterol to that. Now, since I had to have medical clearance for the hysperoscopy, the Dr took and EKG in her clinical office, and said I needed to have a stress test done. I REFUSED. She said she "thinks", from reading the EKG that something is wrong with my heart. Since I refused, she ordered an ultra sound of my heart instead.
544292 tn?1268886268 Please come on in and make yourself at home. This is a very good place to be if you want to get off and stay off Tramadol.
Avatar m tn If an unfortunate side effect should happen to you, well, I am sorry. I am not charging you for this, you are not paying me for it, so don’t sue me. It’s a responsibility that you have to assume. If you expect a risk-free life, with massive compensation should things don’t work out, then don't try this. So, why is this book manuscript free? The physician who reviewed it said, “The materials cost less than $5.
535904 tn?1213468238 In our 'real' worlds, some of us do not get the support, compassion, understanding and allowances for our moods that we get here. We often get the opposite and that is not good. So....hang in there...loving how you are so insightful to your own mind and body. I don't have that, but I'm learning how to work on it because of the suggestions on here. Being gullible, knowing that, and questioning everything is a good thing, I think.
Avatar f tn I don't smoke, I don't drink, I try to eat as clean as possible (no onions either). This is just so embarrassing that it makes me not want to go anywhere because I can't even spend a whole day at work without feeling stinky and nasty, and the weird thing is that I seem to be the only one out there with this problem because others don't smell bad around me. I would hug people and have conversations with so much more ease if I didn't have to worry about this.
572651 tn?1531002957 Like TMI (too much information) I just don't know, but I've found myself having difficulty describing symptoms. And wondering if some have this same problem. So, just throwing that out there as food for thought and discussion. A good Dr. with good questioning can get to the bottom of it, order the right tests, if they are gracious enough to do it.
Avatar f tn Adhd does not smell. This very well could be other things and how you drew that conclusion that it is absolutely ADHD from this story I have no idea. I have a son with sensory integration disorder that has many of the behaviors of ADD/ADHD but treated differently. There are also mental health issues that can affect someone in this way. This poor poor child needs to be evaluated and given help.
495284 tn?1333897642 often we were most effective with several different styles in concert on one thread (not saying that doesn't happen anymore -- just not the way it used to). I know that this probably goes back & forth but I feel I was blessed to come in @ really vital time on this place. When it really worked & we were in the zone, it was a thing of beauty & you could feel the poster responding to it all from behind your keyboard. I swear, I could feel the resonance of it @ certain points.
Avatar f tn not being fulfilled in your marriage is NOT the worst thing that could happen- and you vowed for better or worse. I am not saying all this without being with a jerk, trust me. I spent 11 years chasing my DH and wondering why he didnt love me etc. But I tried something different than run. I owed it to myself and my children. I wooed my hubby and treated him like I wanted to be treated, and at first it took alot more of him being a jerk, bc it was like he was testing me.
Avatar f tn Yes, he should have a bone density test but his pediatrician probably won't do one until he breaks three bones. That is the norm. This is considered a rare disease because it has not been diagnosed in the past as bone density tests were not done on children. Our Children's Hospital is seeing a large increase in children with this problem as the doctor's become aware that they should do the test. I wish Alex has been diagnosed earlier. His fractures were over a period of about eight years.
175662 tn?1282217256 Maybe there is no excuse for that even...I know it's different-we were kids. This is a relationship with actual committment involved. And I agree with these ladies who say paper or not, when you're with someone, you're with them, and nobody else. And it's ridiculous to think that "because I'm not married, I can do whatever I want and not have to suffer any consequences." When my now dh and I first got together, he told me straight-up-you EVER cheat on me, and we're done.
Avatar f tn Parenting has been the hardest job I have ever had and even swore that my kids wouldn't do this or that. Our kids will decide whether we like it or not.
7284346 tn?1402242325 I am hopeful, but I will keep it in check. For my own sanity, for may own health, I believe this is something I must learn to do better. I'm just curious if anyone else out there in parents of addicts or living with addicts keep your hope in check? How do you do it and yet keep a balance? It's important to have hope. That's all. Peace.
Avatar f tn I honor your feelings toward your husband and if you choose to leave him, I honor that as well. You are not in a trap, however this may look to you. You can sue him for Alimony, and Child Support, and all the debts incurred in getting you mental health counseling. Get a job that will help you to save up money to make a move, if this becomes your choice. Then get your own place. As for your daughter. She is not guilty of your husband's behavior.
1530342 tn?1405020090 “As long as the Republicans keep doing really dumb things about women’s reproductive health, that should help energize girls and women in this country,” the actress and activist, in town to speak at the International Center for Research on Women’s Champions for Change gala, says on this week’s “Meet the Press” segment “Press Pass.” “It’s remarkable to me that I would be having conversations with my peers and the younger cohort about access to reproductive health.
Avatar n tn Those afraid of marriage leave that door open for themselves. That is the reality. This may be okay for some. If someone is pushing for marriage with someone less inclined, down the road problems can surface. The one who pushed often questions the love of the other. That can be tough to live like that. As I counseled women in the same situation as many of you fine ladies, I had something in the back of my mind.
Avatar n tn * I'm just looking at the Italian study, and if I'm not mistaken 4 week clearance seems to be a negative predictor! Not by nuch - 4-5% overall - but enough that it wouldn't be a postive predictor. This for early responders treating the entire 24 weeks. As the Veg says, YIKES! "And you have a good sense of humor"... Jim, I'm afraid you're mis-reading the data again.
