Avatar f tn The day after Christmas I discovered a lump on the lower, inner portion of my right breast. It is about 2 1/2 centimeters in length. I know more serious lump aren't supposed to move around, my lump feels attached, but if you touch it you can wiggle it about a centimeter or so. Does that count as moveable? I know it isn't a clogged duct because I've had a few of those before, so I'm thinking perhaps this is a Fibroadenoma?
Avatar f tn So today i had my nine month check up and i once again brought it to my doctors attention that i had a large lump in my breast. For 3 months i had been told it was milk ducks preparing for baby but not one doctor actually checked it. Today i decided to pull my breast out and force her to atleast look at it. After she felt it she informed me that it was in fact a tumor that has grown over time.
Avatar f tn And another just said we do all kinds of breast procedures come in... Will update when I know more. And it is called axillary breast tissue... Still wondering if my insurance wil cover any of this since it is painful...
Avatar n tn I have a large lump on my rib that is right below my left breast. It is not in my breast but below my breast.I had a tumor removed a year ago in my right breast, which was benign, but this is strange. It is very large and very distinctive. Can you have a tumor on your rib and not in your breast that might be Breast cancer and what do you think it can be. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
Avatar f tn Half way through my pregnancy I noticed a scab like wart (very small) on the edge of my areola. I am now almost 6 month postpartum and noticed this morning that the nipple on this breast is a purplish-bruise colored but the other side is not. I don't know how long the discoloration has been there. I just noticed it this morning. Should I be concerned?
Avatar n tn Now, I went to another OBGYN and asked her about my scares as I am still having white dc in 1 breast, both bs feel lumpy and I still have arm lump. I'm a mess. The OBGYN said she didn't see or feel anything other than the armpit thing(she said she didn't think it was a big deal) however, she referred me to a surgeon to check my bs but I have decided to go to a diff dr to check things immediately or on site. Is there anything else positive that this can be? I am so scared.
Avatar n tn Pinpoint pain with pressing scattered over entire breast, armpit, ribs. Only tiny lymph nodes felt. Recurring lump and redness same place as mastitic lump, but baby seems to nurse it down. Occasional red patch to the side of that site; resolves. Generalized itching over entire breast. Brief relief after nursing. (decreased pressure?) Letdown reflex more tingly and painful in affected breast. Pain worsening; used to come and go, but has been continuous for past 6 wks.

Avatar n tn 1. Is it possible since I had a benign lump surgicall removed in October of 2007 and a benign US guided biopsy done on March 26th 2008, just about three weeks ago that there is still healing going on in there even though I see nothing? Also, I was having pain when I got my period after this biopsy on the 26th but that went away when my period did. Now I have pain there and really bad in shoulder and underarm and chest muscles after heavy gardening.
Avatar n tn Hi Christie sorry to ask this here ladies but I know she visits that forum as well and I had a couple questions. About three months before Emily was born I had noticed a lump in my breast that was not painful but I put it off as milk glands starting to get bigger. Well I am three months post partum August 5th. And it has gotten bigger by just a little bit and it never went away while breastfeeding. It has not been sore and I have a mamo scheduled next month.
Avatar f tn I have the same upper left breast pain. (under arm pit) I also feel it once and a while on the right side as well. I just recently changed jobs and am experiencing a lot of stress. Thought it could be a heart issue, however I'm only 34 and in pretty good shape. (Played high school sports as a kid) After reading the above I've come to realize that the increased stress and anxiety (new job, new baby, etc.) may cause you to worry at little more that you should.
1094771 tn?1330284476 Hi I am jumping in late into this thread. I was not sure if I would be starting this month or in February, but as of Tuesday we got the thumbs up from our RE that we would start once my period shows up which by my calculations will be Jan 23. I am to call the office and go in on the third day. I got my list of meds I cannot believe my eyes...I like allgood427 cannot not even look when I see a needle much less give it to myself.
Avatar f tn I recently had my first child and during my pregnancy I found a lump in my breast. My OB, whom I trusted, told me that my breasts were very glandular and warm and that it was nothing. Well, here I am, four months postpartum and now I have multiple lumps in my breast. Immediatley after delivery, I started having neurological symptoms such as muscle twitches and cramps, trouble swallowing and chewing, abdominal pain, ect. So, I went to see a neuro and he said it was stress.
Avatar n tn About 48 hours ago, I noticed this heat sensation in my left shin. At first I thought I was standing too close to a heat vent in the floor at work! It is a warm, sort of tingly sensation that lasts 5 seconds and occurs, I don't know, 10 times throughout the day. I wonder if I slept on the leg funny?? Stress?? I am 43 and in reasonably good health but seem to be a hypochondriac (spelling?) at times.
Avatar n tn I don't have allergies of any kind and I'm in excellent health and I can learn to live with the smell of fresh baked bread in my nostrils.. I mean it could be owrse.. still I think I should get someone to check this out especially as I read about Phantom smells being a possible side efect of brain tumors...
Avatar m tn The cause of breast fibroadenomas is unknown and these may involute in the postpartum period and after menopause. It is best that your cousin discuss the result with her attending physician for proper evaluation. Additional tests as mentioned also from the result may be done. Take care and best regards.

Avatar f tn I need some advice on how to stop feeling guilty about having to stop breastfeeding my 4 week old son. Before he was born I noticed I had a lump on my breast, but I didn't think anything of it because I had an appointment coming up I figured I'd ask the doctor about it then. However he was born the day before my appointment, and I was just do overwhelmed that I completely forgot to ask, so I was going to wait until my 6week postpartum appointment.
Avatar f tn Last week I was poking around and found a lump in each breast. The lumps are in the same general location on the outside of the breast on each side. He felt them himself yesterday and said he was not concerned but ordered an MRI scheduled for Tuesday just to be sure. He thinks that these lumps maybe were always there and that now he can feel everything due to my breasts being soft now. I am terrified to say the least. You would think after all my biposies I would be used to this now.
Avatar n tn At almost 4 weeks postpartum, my baby got very sick and ended up in the NICU for 15 days, it got very serious and I stayed with her 24/7. At the same time, my mom got admitted to the heart hospital next door and after lots of testing learned she needed a heart transplant. So here I am, a mom of 3 small kids, one seriously ill in the hospital and my mom ill in the hospital next door at the same time. Hello stress! I just knew this wasn't going to be good on my mental health.

Avatar f tn I have had Hashimoto's for about 10 years. Initially, in my early 20's a doc discovered a lump on my thyroid and general swelling which they biopsyed but could not get a good sample of. A partial thyroidectomy was done to rule out cancer and the lump turned out to be benign. (follicular adonema). I was told that the remaining piece of thyroid would continue to function well and to periodically check my levels. At that time, I did not know that I had Hashimoto's. No one told me.

Avatar f tn The best thing to do is to focus on your situation and get all part working at the same time. In terms of dental, going to your dentist to discuss the issue would be ideal. If there are problems with erosion, it can be necessary to treat it. You could be getting something called abfraction, which is the wearing away of teeth at the gumline due to clenching/grinding of teeth. You may want to consider getting a nightguard to manage it.
Avatar m tn It started after she broke some bones in her foot and in using crutches she got a pressure hive outbreak. We have tried controlling with H-1 antihistamines. They exacerbate her condition rather than control it. We recently tried hydroxychloroquine with adverse side affects. We have tried L-thyroxin treatment as well but the hives did not go into remission.
