Lump in breast caffeine

Common Questions and Answers about Lump in breast caffeine

Avatar n tn I found a lump in breast that literally grew in a manner of hours. I showered the day prior and didnt feel anything. I noticed it after I ate a chocolate bar and took a caffein pill. My left breast has a lump inside the size mayb of a small ping pong ball and the skin outside the lump is pink. My breast feels full, disconfort and the lump moves around slightly. My nipple is fine and the right breast is fine. Please advice...I am just hoping this does not fit the symptoms of IBC.
Avatar n tn Get it checked out! I have a lump in my right breast, about the size of a marble. My doctor told me to cut back on caffeine, as it can cause fibrous cysts. I didn't drink much caffeine to begin with, but did what she told me. Nine months later, the lump grew a little bit and was tender. Doctor scheduled a mammogram and biopsy for me and I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm only 31! Even if the lumps don't hurt, get them checked out anyway.
Avatar m tn 3 days since I noticed the lump in my breast. AHHH IM so nervous!!!!!!
Avatar m tn The changes she is going through are extremely common at 13 because at this age her hormones are changing and all this makes breast lumps much more likely. Feeling a lump or lumps in young girls is inevitable and it's part of growing. Fibroadenomas are benign lumps and they are not related to breast cancer in any way. They increase in size and tenderness in relation to the menstrual cycles due to hormonal changes.
193137 tn?1367880063 I discovered a lump during a self-exam on January 1st of this year. It was very small and round, like a pea. I'm usually pretty lazy about doing these kinds of exams, but I thought it would be a good way to start off the new year and it would be easy to remember when I needed to do it again. At the age of 31, I never expected to find anything. When I went to my primary care doctor in February, she couldn't even find it. I showed her where it was and she ordered an ultrasound.
Avatar f tn I felt a slight lump in my breast, which doesnot pain normally but mild pain starts before my mensus. So i went to see a gynecologist she prescribed me Simrose 1000 tablet for 3months. Is it safe to take it and what are the side effects of it and should i under go some more diagnosis before taking this treatment. What are the causes of lump and how severe it could be if treatment not taken properly and how to detect the severity of the lump in breast? I am not married.
Avatar n tn If this is so, I would conclude that this type of bra that you wear, is the cause of your lump in your breast. You are not the first one who I encounter and have lumps in their breasts, cysts, tumours, cancers. I have quite a few of my clients who have their breast remove on account of the cancer and all were wearing underwire bras.
Avatar f tn Had the lump in my breast biopsied.
Avatar f tn i was feeling a lump in my left breast for an year. 2 months ago, i felt that its size became double. so i was worried and two weeks ago i had a doctor's appointment and she recommened ultrasound. ultrasound report tells that there is a well defined hypoechoic nodular measure 3.8*2.3cm, is seen at upper outer quadrent of left breast at 2 degree clock position. it has smooth contours and not fixed to underlying tissues. it is likely a fibroadenoma.
Avatar n tn very noticeable, right breast
1156128 tn?1276756318 had iud removed and had breast exam and folow up ultrasound will be done for lump in left breast, turned out to be non cancerous..just normal lump!
Avatar f tn At this time we have not undergone any genetic testing, but about 5 years ago, I found a lump in my left breast, oblong in shape, about an inch long, above and a little left of my nipple. It scared me, so I had it checked and the doctor said it was caused by an increased consumption of caffeine. I had in fact started drinking more caffeinated beverages so this made sense to me at the time. Now the lump is still there, and it is tender to the touch.
Avatar m tn Hi, If you have no other symptoms like nipple discharge, skin changes in the breast or nipple area, any lump, any inversion of the nipple etc,I doubt that it could be a sign of breast cancer. This pain could be caused by hormonal changes.Try to avoid caffeine (chocolate coffee, colas) and see how it goes.If the pain still persists you will need to schedule an appointment and see your physician for a clinical evaluation. Take care and best wishes...
Avatar n tn proceed to give me a breast examination and confirmed what I found, I did have a lump in my left breast. He told me I had to go to a breast doctor to get examined there and then they can figure out what they needed to do. As you can imagine Im freaking out and depressed (a little :( ). While I was in the doctors office he did ask me did I have any breast cancer history in my family. My mother confirmed that I do indeed but not on my father's side.
Avatar f tn t think that because you have detected a lump in you breast you need to go to the emergency, but seeing your doctor is a very wise decision. This could be a cyst which can appear at any age, in teenagers as well as in older women. These cysts are related to the increasing hormonal fluctuations and the pain is particularly felt prior to the menstrual cycle and subside after the menses finish..
Avatar n tn My sister is 32 years old and found a lump in her breast in late June 2002. She had been to her gyne in November 2001 who did not detect a lump at that time. She was been referred to a surgeon who determined that the lump was nothing to be concerned with and felt that she did not even need a biopsy, that he would see her in 6 weeks (suggesting she avoid caffeine - she intakes a lot of caffeine). However, our mother died at the age of 48 of cervical cancer.
Avatar f tn I am glad that you are seeing your doctor tomorrow. This visit is long overdue, and,if I may add, you should not have ignored this lump in your breast for as long as you have. There is something that you can do to lessen the pain...try to limit your caffeine intake as much as possible (chocolate coffee cola).Your doctor will examine your breasts tomorrow and maybe order an Ultrasound for a better understanding of what this lump might be.Best wishes and God Bless.
Avatar n tn I have a 6cm lump in my right breast that I am going in for excisional biopsy next week. The needle biopsy showed a benign condition (fibroadenoma) with atypical cells. My lump seemed to apear and grow over night, so I know why you are freaking out. I was too. I would be assertive and get in asap but also stay calm. There is a good chance that this lump is benign. Hope it works out. Keep us posted.
Avatar f tn You didn't state the results of the Mammogram ... I'm sure the report would have made some mention of the breast lump. Caffeine isn't the cause of a breast lump ... if it is a cyst then it would be due to hormone levels in the body. Reducing the intake of caffeine can help reduce the discomfort and possibly the size of the cyst (which may vary anyway in relation to the menstrual cycle) but it certainly doesn't cause the cyst.
Avatar f tn increased right breast tenderness mid cycle, can feel more of the lump
Avatar f tn Dear nicole75455, Cannot say for sure why she asked about caffeine consumption but some believe that caffeine can be involved in breast changes. However, there isn't consistent scientific evidence that caffeine is involved in breast changes or that restricting caffeine intake can reduce these changes.
Avatar f tn Hello everyone. I'm 23 years old. Recently I've had a small hard lump develop under the skin on my upper outer right arm. I asked my doctor to look at it and he blew me off and said it must be an ingrown hair or something and there's nothing he can do about it. I've had the lump for several months. Maybe even going on a year now. And in the last 2 weeks I've noticed that I'm getting sharp pains in my right breast. It doesn't last very long. Maybe 30 seconds or so.

Avatar n tn A pea-sized lump was found in the left breast. I could not feel the lump when I did breast self-exams. I had a mammogram and an ultrasound which were normal. The radiologist told me to cut out the caffeine and to take vitamin E. I have done both of those things, but I still have pain. She felt the lump was caused by hormonal changes and the caffeine. She said to follow up with my doctor in 6 months. Should I have a second opinion? Could it be something that is not showing up on the tests?
Avatar f tn Been testing for breast cancer for the last few weeks---eating all the time.
