Avatar f tn Although I am not in graduate school I am in RN school right now. I am due in November and have not told them at school yet. There was a girl a few semesters ago that got pregnant and they treated her the same way you described above when they found out. I will be done in May 2010 so I don't have that much more to go but I am planning on getting my Masters in about 1 year so I will have a little one running around.

6520484 tn?1399082398 You can do it. Im in my last year of nursing school. I graduate this year December 17. This quarter has been ok i still have a 3.7 gpa. Just been tired and sick especially on the days i have to do a 12 hour clinical shift.
Avatar f tn During this time I will be student teaching in school. Does anyone have any advice about how to manage school and pregnancy so that I can still graduate on time??
Avatar f tn What to expect when you're expecting says losing weight in the 1st trimester is normal bc of morning sickness. You will just have to make up for it when you aren't sick anymore. If you can't keep anything down, you may need to see your dr incase you become dehydrated.
Avatar n tn I am a 23 year old college graduate and I need a wisdom tooth extraction. I can not afford medical insurance of any kind and I am ineligible for Medicaid/Medicare. My bottom left 3rd moral is trying to come in but there is no room for it. It frequently gets infected and my mouth and gums swell so that I can not even chew food. The pain is intense and I am losing sleep as a result. What can I do about the pain/infection on my own and also where can I receive free or discounted treatment?
Avatar n tn I'm 18 and halfway through my senior year. Finding out I was pregnant was a huge surprise for me and I've been worrying about school. I'm not sure if I should finish off on independent study or not. I'm about 10 weeks and have been having nausea and feel so tired all the time. I know school is going to be hard for me. And I'm due in July so when I graduate in June, I'll be pretty big. I'm scared of judgment and stress highschool can cause. Advice?
Avatar f tn Okaew , so i live in VA and my baby father lives in NC but i am still in high school , should i move to NC because thats where my support is or should i stay here and move when i graduate in June even though im due Jan ?

1110747 tn?1295844043 I'm in the same boat you are as far as not understanding the weight gain, I'm in grad school and at my heaviest weight, hopefully others can shed light to what they have done.
Avatar n tn s keeping you from losing weight. By eating regular meals, you can better incorporate a mix of vegetables, protein, whole grains and healthy fats into your diet. Snacking, typically, ends up being fruit, candy bars, crackers, sandwiches, chips and all the things that aren't so good for you and tend to make you, either, gain or hold onto weight.
Avatar f tn I lost 10 using the gym and pool before my struggle with tachycardia got worse. I agree that you need motivation but I also think you need to enjoy exercise. I went with a friend and had lots of fun. Not sure if it's a coincidance or not but I lost the 10kg before my sister join us at the gym. I have a lot of anxiety around my sister as she's a controling person and given any chance she will try to control me any way. I stopped loosing weight once she joined us.
Avatar f tn I am In my first trimester and I am in nursing school and I work as a caregiver. However I feel really fatigue and tired throughout the day and I have one class twice a week in the mornings and one online I also have to check on my patient 3 times a day which is a lot of driving. Being pregnant makes me not even want to do the assignments but I want to continue to stay on track in order to graduate on time. The classes are fast pace 8wks each month.
Avatar f tn Hey I'm a nutrition major soon to graduate in may and I think I can help ya ! My advice is to first start with your diet. You should try to stick to a diet where you aren't consuming more than 1800-1900 calories a day. You can still snack while you study but try healthier options like yogurt nuts or apples which will help you feel full bit with low fat and high protein and carbs.
15915009 tn?1488868338 I'm in my last year of high school and have homework each night (with the few instances of no homework days). I'm doing 4 academics (unless you count French as one) and have dance and volunteering on my plate to complete my grad requirements. Can get a bit stressful at times. Any suggestions to make time please?

2011837 tn?1343797528 Since i transferred las year from a different school i was already short on credits to graduate next year. I could still graduate next year if i dont fail NOOO classes this year. btw im a honor roll student ... heres the catch , i was asent abut 5 days since september & only had 3 days left. I jus found out I was pregnant May 3rd and before that I was out of school for throwing up, fevers, and bad side cramps. Now i know what it is once I went to te hospital nd they said I was pregnant.
3106038 tn?1346813169 But I was already behind in school and I can graduate if I go to summer school but I already have a hard time doing school work I have no idea how I'm going to when the baby's here. I know I have to and will find a way. But I'm getting way to frustrated with it as it is. But I guess that's what I get for getting pregnant my senior year. Sorry kind of just a rant.
Avatar f tn m currently raising 4 children, in school full time, while my husband works full time and goes to school part time. We're expecting our 5th in March and don't plan on deviating from our current arrangement. I'll graduate next Fall and he'll graduate 2 years later. It's hard but completely worth the effort. I just wish I did it sooner.
