Avatar f tn m 23w4d and was still down about 7 pounds on my last visit, according to my first recorded weight at the OB. My GP has recorded me losing some weight before I knew I was pregnant.

Avatar f tn Sometimes when I run uphill, steep altitude gains, in the beginning my arms lose blood. It's not pain, it's not numbness, but a weird ache like all the blood is rushing out of them. I'm sure it has to do with all the blood going to my quads and glutes so they can push me up the hill. But I don't know any of my friends that have this sensation. Just wondering if it's unusual.
Avatar f tn Recently I have been having chest pains in the middle of my chest when I breath deeply but when I exhale. Whenever I put both arms in the air and put it back down it will hurt as well. Sometimes the pain goes to my left breast. What can this pain be a result of?
Avatar m tn I agree with louise. try some workout and lose overall weight may result in losing face fat.
Avatar f tn my problem that im having is my stomach, upper and lower back, and arms. when i walk i have a problem breathing i'm 262 lbs help me please.
Avatar m tn I am morbidly obese. My question is:I have a lot of pain (especially when touched) in what seems to be the fatty tissue, especially in the upper legs (thighs) and the upper arms. I can also feel nodule underneath the skin (not sure if in fat of facia) and if these are pressed, the pain is tremendous, often radiating all over.
1066531 tn?1254969334 I’ve been working out for many years now, and i want to know how I can tone my body better without losing a large portion of weight, mostly my chest and midsection? I’m 6ft 198lbs I would like to be around 195 but in much better “shape”. My diet ***** and i’m trying to work on it, but I work out at the gym 2-3 times a week lifting weights and running. I dont run a whole bunch though, would that help my problem or will that just make me lose wieght?
Avatar n tn And I have constant pain in my arms, hands, legs, feet which is normal with Hashi? But I also have pain in my upper and lower back, chest, abdomin and even a shooting pain around my uterus area that radiates down my thigh. Could this all be Hashi/thyroid related? All the pain and drastic weight loss really concern me though. BTW I have been on synthroid 75 mcg for 1 month now. Thank you.
Avatar f tn The best solution for losing weight is a combination of caloric restriction and exercise. Losing weight is challenging but with weight loss your periods have a good shot at coming back to normal. Also, there are fertility pills and a diabetes medicine called glucophage which often help to start more regular ovulation. Good luck!
167 tn?1374173817 Any suggestions on how to have nice, toned arms and back would be great! I need to tone my tummy, also! Gotta look great in my bikini on the beach in Hawaii for our honeymoon! Thanks!
Avatar f tn You didn't state what your meals consist of and you need to do strength training and cardio.
Avatar f tn It's not unusual to gain a little weight when first starting to exercise. When you begin an exercise program, you begin building muscle, so even though you aren't losing pounds, you might be losing inches. You might want to take your measurements - waist, bust, hips, thighs, arms - you might actually be getting smaller. You might also want to think about getting your thyroid tested to make sure it's functioning properly since hypothyroidism is a major cause of weight gain.
Avatar n tn t experience prior to the weight loss. I have pain in my shoulders (I think this is due to my arms hanging straight down now rather than at a angle to accomodate my hips when I was larger) and I have pain through my entire pelvic region, not all the time, but quite often. Is this a normal adjustment my body is making to my new size? I was overweight for about 10 years.
Avatar m tn Thanks for always adding info. And I really was impressed with your art> hope you can still do that as it is a talent. It's been a couple of really bad weeks with different episodes of rigor and high temps after meds, natural meds or detox bath. That is why I haven't responded to anything. Very tired and losing more weight. My LLMD thinks it is toxins in my system that are very heavy. I don't know.
Avatar m tn thanks so much for the reply, but i am losing so much weight also doing weight lifting but losing so much weight from arms, buttocks and legs no strength at all in my muscles
Avatar m tn Also found out that my Testosterone is is 231 which is extremely low for my age (30), and also that I have a slipped disc in my c5-c6 cervical area. My doctors have said the slipped disc wouldn't cause the widespread numbness. My question is could my low testosterone be causing the widespread numbness? My muscles and everything seem to be weakening which is scary. Just curious on what other people thought.

Avatar m tn now I am back to diet and exercise (I am eating more, but the exercise makes me hungry, but its mainly more fruit, bigger salad, etc...) and I am losing weight but slower than when I did not even notice that I was losing weight. I have dieted before and I have NEVER seen myself lose weight when I was not focused. I don't get it. I am not sick or anything and I am only on allergy medication (I don't even take it much).
1748636 tn?1312396409 I am unable to see my doctor right now, so I am on my own. Does anyone have any ideas where to start? I need to get in the right frame of mind, but I am really just up in arms...
Avatar f tn I also felt like I was going to be sick during it and I think I was a littel threw it but I just held it down and pushed my self even harder to keep going. I know feel sick and my arms and legs especaly my arms feel heavy as bricks! Is this un healthy???
4347624 tn?1353481573 Is there a good naturopath/nutritionist in your area that can do a body composition analysis? In my clinic we look at your muscle mass (arms, legs, torso), fat mass (arms, legs, torso) and monitor these. Also, with diet, as oppose to caloric intake, it's more about nutritionally dense food. Eating for health as oppose to eating for calories. Also, ruling out underlying metabolic issues (thyroid) that could be preventing weight loss.
Avatar f tn I just wanted to ask if there was any excersize i could do to tone my upper arms and stomach. The first time i lost the weight i did 1000 stomach crunches a day & that seemed to keep my stomach flat but i'm worried that the skin, not the muscles, is sagging on my arms & stomach. I know that this can happen when people loose alot of weight. I have bought some weights to help tone my arms but dont know which techniques to try.
Avatar n tn I'm 35 weeks and 2 days. When I tell ppl I weigh 186 pounds they don't believe me. My belly looks like it's 6 months pregnant. I can tell I have put on some weight in my arms and legs buy not excessive to weigh 186 pounds. This is the biggest I've ever been. I'm scared to reach 200. The thought of that just makes me feel uneasy. I already feel fat as it is. Is it just water weight that's making me weigh so much? Because I seriously do not look like I weigh 186.
Avatar n tn I developed a tiny like pimple in the middle of my armpit, and it is painless, but it does cause me to have shooting pains in both my arms, elbows, and my forearms. I thought i developed this when i began lifting weights, but i am a hundred percent sure i did not because i have stopped lifting and went through my muscle recover time for a week and the shooting pains come and they go. A friend of mine told me that it sounds like you may have block arteries, and may have a heart attack.
