Avatar n tn s keeping you from losing weight. By eating regular meals, you can better incorporate a mix of vegetables, protein, whole grains and healthy fats into your diet. Snacking, typically, ends up being fruit, candy bars, crackers, sandwiches, chips and all the things that aren't so good for you and tend to make you, either, gain or hold onto weight.
Avatar f tn So my dr told me that I am losing weight today at my appointment. I know its natural in the first trimester but my dr is concerned and says I need to start gaining. Problem is I am never hungry. I eat a small meal at lunch time and feel completely stuffed the rest of the day/night. Anyone have any suggestions?? I'm already high risk, I don't want anything else to happen too!
Avatar f tn ve been steadily losing weight over the past few days even though I eat at least 3 meals a day (3 normal portioned meals, or 5 small meals). When I first weighed myself when I found out I was pregnant, I was about 145. Then when I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago I was 140, now I'm 137. Anyone else going through weird things like this? Oh and keep in mind I'm constipated, so I feel like I should weigh more?
Avatar m tn Your having trouble losing weight, it's because you can't spell "LOSE". Apparently, you're just trying to "LOOSE" weight which doesn't involve either eating or dieting. Just kidding....... but you gotta keep track of the calories man. You should be under 1800 calories per day if ya wanna lose the poundage.
Avatar f tn I'm looking for meals (for breakfast, lunch and dinner) that are healthy and diet plan worthy. I'm very confused as to what I should be eating in order to start losing weight. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Avatar f tn A lot of people will lose weight when they actually eat a good amount of healthy food. If j only eat 3 meals a day I gain weight but if I eat about 6 small meals a day I actually lose weight.
Avatar f tn Hey ladies I'm 21weeks and keep losing weight. Im always been a petite woman but I was pushing 140 at 6 weeks now I'm down to 127. My doctor a first had no concern and suggest as long as I gain the 25+pounds by the end ill be fine. But now it has become an concern. I feel like I eat pretty good foods and smaller but more meals daily. But I'm not packing on the pounds. This is my second baby after an 8year gap I was 170 having my first at delivery.
Avatar f tn m eating around 2100 calories a day or less and drinking a lot of water along with at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. I wanna lose 115 pounds. Is there any healthy meals to eat without a lot of veggies? I love corn.. But that's about it .-.
Avatar f tn But if you really want to lose weight cutting back on calories will really help. Try to eat 1500 calories a day but make sure you dont skip meals. Losing weight is easier if you have someone to support you so find a family member or close friend who will also try to lose weight with you. Fast food is packed with calories and fat (at least most of it is) so avoid it but if you're going to eat it then try to get the healthiest thing there and yes drinking water does help.
Avatar f tn Suggest improving your eating habits to help lose weight which recommend a Heart Healthy diet which is a moderate fat diet. You need approximately 1500-1800 calories per day which is spread across 3-5 meals a day with snacks between meals. Moderate fat diet means = use polyunsaturated (omega 3, corn oil, nuts, etc) fats and monounsaturated (olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, etc) fats, no saturated fats (high fat snack foods, butter, fat spreads) and no trans fats.
Avatar n tn t really need to gain if you were over weight when the pregnancy started. Eat healthy meals, normal portions, exercise moderately. You may lose weight naturally as baby takes up some of the excess calories you were consuming. I'd consider yourself weight neutral right now and just eat healthy with proper portion control and not worry about the end result of your weight.
Avatar f tn Not to mention overload on mercury. Six small meals throughout the day are suggested but if you are going to stick with 3 meals a day, throw in 2 snacks in between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner. One of the snacks can be a protein shake. You have to throw in some carbs or you will feel extremely drained. For breakfast you can have a cup of oatmeal with berries and a few hours later you can have some eggwhites or a piece of fruit or a protein bar.
Avatar f tn Ohhh yeah I saw that one. LOL. It was gross. And it just so happened to be on when I was eating dinner and I was like EWWWW!!! Not while Im eating! Honestly most of those frozen healthy meals I really don't eat (none of them appeal to me) except for the pizzas.
Avatar f tn I do eat 6 small meals it's so weird..
Avatar f tn m 37 years old, and after having my third and last child 3 years ago. I noticed a lot of changes in my body, Iā€™m 5ā€™3ā€ and weight around 165-170, I eat really healthy, 3 meals a day, including salads, vegetables, fruits, grains, I completely avoid flour and sugar.
Avatar f tn As far as losing weight, I have pcos as well. I've been eating high protein meals and they're four smaller meals per day. It'll keep you fuller longer, will give you more energy, and help you lose weight. As far as conceiving, I don't have any answers for that. I hope this helps!
Avatar f tn What to expect when you're expecting says losing weight in the 1st trimester is normal bc of morning sickness. You will just have to make up for it when you aren't sick anymore. If you can't keep anything down, you may need to see your dr incase you become dehydrated.
Avatar f tn Just keep eating healthy and taking your vitamins. I lost some weight too from eating smaller and more frequent meals to keep myself from getting sick and I'm trying to eat all healthy. Don't stress about little things!

Avatar f tn My 13 month old is still above normal on the percentiles but she is losing weight. She grew rapidly and was off the charts until 11 months. Her height increases rapidly but her weight has been dropping. She is very active so I figured she would drop some weight and everything would be ok. At what point should I worry about the lose of weight? Is it what I am feeding her? Is her diet of fruits and veggies not providing enough calories?
Avatar f tn I have not had gastric bypass although I should. I weighed 350lbs when I got pregnant. The last Dr visit I weighed 333lbs. The doctor said she was not worried about the weight loss but did not want me to gain more than 9 lbs my entire pregnacy. The morning sickness makes me lose my appetite. Although now in 2nd trimester I'm feeling more hungry. I saw a fetal care specialist and she said she did not want me losing any more weight so I'm not sure what to think either.
