Avatar n tn I am pretty much 120 pounds overweight now, and I was actually quite skinny 6 years ago. I believe now that I have become a severe food addict. Well, I actually think it's not so much the food, but whatever "reward" my brain gives me from fat, salty, heavy foods.

One hour of walking will burn up about 300-325 calories if you walk at a moderate speed. Bottom line is learn how to determine how many calories your using daily and then know how many calories your eating daily... that way you will know if your doing what you should be doing to lose weight. Stress can also cause some weight loss so the stress of a new job cam be causing some of that as well. Try not to think the worst and be happy that youre losing some weight if you would like to lose some weight. During my worst anxiety episodes i lost 14lbs in about a month and a half. Its not uncommon for stress to cause some weight loss.

Little bit of baking soda in water helped bunches and it will eventually go away unless you gain more weight like I have. lol I have been off for almost 6 months cold turkey and am now ready to tackle a little of that weight gain. Im giving up soda. LOL Congratulations and hang in there.
Avatar f tn I gave up all pop once I realized how much sugar is in a glass of pop. Diet soda is even worse. Most diet soda has an ingredient in it called Aspartame. Did you know that one of the ingredients of aspartame is wood alchohol. No joke. I researched aspartame and discovered this. Wood alcohol is actually a poison. Also the more diet soda you drink, the greater your craving for sugar is. Soda is also very bad for your intestines.

Why am I not losing any weight? In fact I gained 3 lbs. Do I need to cut out weights completely? Do I need to go to the gym 5 days a week and do more cardio? I ate very few carbs for many years. Avatar n tn Why do you want to be underweight? If you love sports you most likely have a lot of muscle mas making up your current underweight BMI. Get a fat percentage measurement done and you may find that you should actually worry more about properly nourishing and taking care of your body's needs than losing weight. But I have been trying but have had problems losing the weight,I had gained about 28 lbs, my height is 5in. I recently got really determined and lost 10 lbs and needing to lose another 20 lbs! I workout 3-5 times a week,usually dvds ,Rocking Body by Shaun T,turbo jam or biggest losers walk .if the weather permits I also walk outside. My body frame is pear shaped,my weight goes directly to my hips and rump !

Avatar f tn It also helps to plan your meals ahead of time so that you know before hand how many calories your going to eat that day. You dont have to eat much of some foods to keep from losing weight. You can purchase the calorie counter book in a paper back at most any book store... Id also suggest that you try eating 1,500to 1,600 calories daily. Most males usually use or burn about 2400 calories daily.

I am not exercising as much as I tire way easier than before, I am drinking the same amount of water as before, and I think I am eating the same amount of food (I don't want to eat more as I can only gain 10-15 pounds during the entire pregnancy), so how is this possible? Please help.
