Avatar m tn I thought about making an appointment at a skin and laser office. They offer this treatment called Fraxel, but I am not sure it will work on these kinds of scars, the yellowish brown marks that remain, but are not raised. Does anyone know if this Fraxel treatment would help? The consultaion appointment is 75 dollars so I dont really want to go if they cant do anything for me. The treatment is expensive, but honestly, i am willing to pay any amount to get rid of these scars at this point.
Avatar f tn I tried to remove one with tweezers, and it was very tacky (as in sticky) and clearly goes deep under the skin. Part of it broke off but I could still see that the pore was plugged and a day or two later top of the plug was sticking out again. i can't find ANYTHING online that looks like it.

Avatar m tn Years ago I was receiving laser hair removal on my entire brazilian area. After that, I began getting brazilian waxes. About 2-3 years ago I noticed a small, round bump (smaller than the zero on most keyboards) that was flesh colored, somewhat firm to the touch (solid, not filled with fluid) slightly raised, but relatively smooth, not bumpy. My immediate thought was that it was a keloid/scar as a result of shaving and/or having the laser used on such sensitive skin every month for years.
Avatar n tn I have had problems with mild acne all my life but have noticed that it has become a larger problem since the birth of my first child 9 months ago. The blemish itself seems nothing out of the ordinary but I have noticed that it is taking much longer to heal. The area becomes extremely dry and then cracks and bleeds. I wash my face twice daily with a mild oily/ combination skin cleanser and follow up with a light moisturizer.
Avatar m tn oh and trust me, as someone who's seen hundreds of penises between my professional and personal life - they aren't blemish free and a few dips in the skin isn't going to turn anyone off.
Avatar n tn Hey, I have freeze burns on my arm from treating moles with blemish free, It got rid of the moles but my skin has had three big red blotches for two months now since the blisters peeled away. I also have a fairly bad keloid from abraiding my moles and applying a bloodroot product called dermatend.
Avatar m tn I'm guessing that in a week or two the areas will be a light pink blemish on the skin. I read somewhere you can buy scar-healing lotion to improve the process, but even now I'm much less embarrassed than I was with the warts. The blemishes left behind will appear like a minor shaving rash or ingrown hair, as one of the scars from a wart I removed early on is beginning to disappear. Good luck, I'm not an expert but my method seems to work fine if you can handle minor pain and bleeding.
Avatar n tn But now I use my tweezers on any spot on my body where I can pull or pick something out of my skin, whether it's dirt in pores, pus, or body hairs. I know it's so embarrassing to talk about and I'm glad I'm not alone on this. I even don't care if anyone sees me doing it. I live in a sorority house where girls, who are getting ready and looking beautiful, walk by me all time and I'm picking away at my face.
Avatar n tn After much thought and analysis, I'm leaning towards the idea that the bleeding is caused by tears in the lining of the urethra and that the tears are caused by the skin stretching very tight during an erection. That and/or blood vessels rupturing because of high blood pressure during an erection. This would explain why the bleeding stops after the ejaculation: IMO, the blood in the urine is only residual blood (mixed with semen) that got pushed into the bladder during ejaculation.
Avatar f tn I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it is possible you will never gain feeling. I had a "average" removal of my wisdom teeth (impacted).. I stayed awake through the procedure( not a great idea) Next month it will be a year since I have have had any feeling in the right side of my tongue, and severe nerve damage over my entire bottom gums and my right upper face... nerves are weird...My days are a constant battle of pain and burning sensations...
