Avatar m tn Various methods used for mole removal are excision and cauterization. Although laser removal has been tried for moles, it is not usually the method of choice for most deep moles because the laser light doesn't penetrate deeply enough. You can get this mole evaluated from a dermatologist and get it evaluated. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar f tn Hi, I had a mole on my face and I did a mole excursion, a small brown spot grew back, and I did a mole laser removal surgery to get it remove. However after the laser removal surgery, my mole is not disorted and grown, it doesn't seem to be a tissue scar cause it is dark brown and a raiser lump has occurred. Is this an indication of something? Can I get mole removal again using laser or excision or it would keep coming back? Thanks!
Avatar f tn Hello, There are many procedures of mole removal like by shave or deep elliptical excision, excision with cauterization (a tool is used to burn away the mole) and laser removal. Your dermatologist may choose excision with or without stitches, depending on the depth of the mole and the type of cosmetic outcome desired. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

While none of these methods have been "certified" or accepted by conventional doctors, many people around the globe stand by their success.

A= Assymetry: if one half of a mole appears different than the other half. B=Border: if the borders are notched and irregular. C= Color: if the mole exhibits more than one color, usually dark brown, black, or purple. D= Diameter: if the mole is more than 6 mm in diameter. E = Elevation: if the mole is greatly elevated.
Avatar n tn Or is it raised due to there being left over mole deeper in the skin? Also, if I leave this scar alone, and just keep applying vitamin E oil/cream and using my Silicone Strips, will it flatten and revert to the normal skin tone overtime? I'd appreciate it if anyone took the time to respond, I need some opinions.
