Holding sneeze in lose brain cells

Common Questions and Answers about Holding sneeze in lose brain cells

sneeze

Avatar m tn Every so often, usually after a sneeze or a sniff, I get a foul smell in my nose that only I can smell. It's hard to describe. It's a combination of many bad smells put together. It makes me not want to eat, because it's not even worth eating anything for the enjoyment of food. (It would probably be good for someone trying to lose weight). :-) I tried to pinpoint the cause, but I haven't been successful. It's usually gone after a night's sleep. A nap doesn't always do the trick.
1696352 tn?1318535967 They transferred 3 embryos ( two- 8 cells and one-4 cells) and in the 2nd day they already called me to tell me I had low progesterone and to start taking the progesterone orally ( so far only vaginal, 3 times x day), so here we go again, now every time I take the progesterone I feel drowsy, which does not help during work. Hopefully they reduce the dose later. Also this time, they have given me estrogens (4times x 1day) and 3 times the hcg shot.
Avatar n tn My main concern is if the blood vessels pop in my hands with this kind of ease, can this also happen in the brain or other organs where this wouldn't be just a pain in the hand? I think we need to demand somehow that the medical establishment starts treating our hypothyroidism with some respect.
Avatar n tn About a year ago I was sent to a neurologist because of headaches and was found to have a very small calcification in my brain. He said it was nothing to worry about. The smoke smell wasn't bothering me at the time so I didn't mention it. I'm going to schedule another appointment. I am blown away that there are so many people with this same phenomenon...will let you know what the outcome is....
Avatar n tn Another primary role of magnesium is to work with calcium to help regulate the body's nerve and muscle tone. In many nerve cells, magnesium serves as a chemical gate blocker - as long as there is enough magnesium around, calcium can't rush into the nerve cell and activate the nerve. This gate blocking by magnesium helps keep the nerve relaxed. If our diet provides us with too little magnesium, this gate blocking can fail and the nerve cell can become overactivated.

Avatar n tn I also have the same problems, have just had 11 lesions found in my brain but no definintive dx (just dx with tmjd but have no pain xcept for the rare headache) - it's this PRESSURE when I stand up or walk - but sometimes even when laying down I get the pulsatile tinnitus. I have low blood pressure normally - used to feel faint when standing up too fast - now can't get up that fast - but get this pressure instead anyway!!! HELP US PLEASE!
Avatar m tn Also I observe myself very carefully when eating--how am I breathing, am I chewing, am I holding my neck and head in alignment with my body when I swallow? I think that spending some time inverted each day really is the key. When you think about how humans have not always walked upright, but rather on all fours (babies crawl, of course), it's probably quite logical that some areas of the body are still "tuned" to that orientation. Anyway, works for me, when I remember to do it.
544292 tn?1268886268 When I crash, I pretty much am laid out horizontally hopefully on the sofa and not in bed! Being in bed, brings the drug thoughts up fast. Distraction techniques are best for me. I like to watch either light funny movies or action films. The action films help me not feel as angry. Or help me feel more angry. Both of which are useful states of mind. I was kind of expecting a complete immune system crash since all my body's energy is being used to toss Tramadol out on it's posterior!

Avatar m tn You may have some blockage in your carotid arteries—the ones in your neck that provide blood to your brain. Figure out which direction you will be bending over in the shower. Preferably, it’s the side away from the shower head. Take everything out of this side of the shower, so that you don’t mistakenly grab it and fall down.

Avatar m tn I am still very active, (coaching soccer, coaching girls softball, healthy marraige, and still holding down a pretty good golf handicap). In 1996, I lost feeling in my left side, my balance was terrible, and I thought I was having a stroke at age 26. Once in the hospital, I thought about my family history and was able to diagnose myself. The doctor came in a little later to confirm my diagnosis. After recovering, I went 5 years before it ever hit me again.

Avatar f tn It's sounds like you are in a "healthy" position to consider tx. Were I you, I would ask my doctor to run the IL28B test. If you are shown to have the desired CC allele you then have an 80% chance of clearing the virus on current SOC. This would let you get started sooner than later and possible avoid some side effects associated with the new drugs. If you aren't a CC than I would encourage waiting on the new PI's for improved odds.
Avatar n tn Their noses turn red and some will scratch their nose, or grab their nose or cough or sneeze. They are always in a hurry to get away from me. I use mouth wash, use floss, brush after meals, and still I get this response. I never wear scents of any kind because I can't. I may lose my job because of this. When we do get invited over to peoples houses it is usually outdoors or the windows are open. I am so clean its pathetic.
Avatar n tn Hey, maybe our body is trying to let us know we have somthing in us when other people sneeze in our presence. Everything though is going wrong in my life, lost everything, lost my love, lost my past self. instead of hanging it up, ive decided to give it one last courageous push, i will reconstruct myself. if i dont speak to u guys again jus want to let yall know u guys are the bomb. been a pleasure.
Avatar f tn The chemicals may reach the brain if they are able to cross the blood/brain barrier, which then triggers brain cells to turn on without anything to do, those brain cells cause anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, and in some people seizures. As for the waste and poorly digested food in your blood, your body is of course not supposed to have these things in your blood, and before your liver or kidneys can filter them out your body has identified them as a threat, created antibodies, and is attacking them.
Avatar f tn Thank you. I had my follow up appointment with my Endocrinologist today. He stated that he may have been incorrect in his jump to diagnose me with Macromagly. He had a look at my CT scan I had three years ago (the one that didnt show up my Pit Tumour), and he said that the CT Specialist and him felt that my bone growth was "negligible" and that he no longer feels I may have Macromagly.
Avatar n tn Prior to the headache phase and at the very beginnings of the migraine attack, there is a drop in magnesium levels, which is believed to be a destabilizing factor causing the nerves in the brain to misfire17 (one theory behind types of visual aura). At the same time, increased dopamine activity is observed, which has been connected with such prodromal symptoms as mood change, yawning and drowsiness."
