Avatar f tn Hi allegra_dl, I believe that Ms. Paderla is right. You might be suffering from allergic rhinitis and so as your mother and grandmother. This is a condition wherein sometimes people inherit the disease and may pass to other generations. This kind of allergy does not only concern weather changes but also other allergens like dust mites, pollens, etc.
2083688 tn?1334601661 can send bacteria or a virus into your brain. Your brain is heavily protected from outside invaders and it takes them coming in from the bloodstream to affect your brain. When you hold a sneeze your larynx closes cutting off the air flow to your nose/sinuses causing the sneeze. This would cause your diaphragm and stomach to "jump". Sneezes are not mainly caused by infection of the nose. They're from dust, pollen, and other general irritants we encounter through our day.
Avatar n tn When the liver is not breaking down ammonia it can build up in the brain and have a toxic affect on brain cells. Forgetfulness, confusion, increased sedation, tremors, uncoordination and overall weakness are some symptoms. Have you visited the hep C forum? There is a wealth of knowledgable community members there. It is also a great source of support. I'm sending well wishes to you and your husband. Keep us posted.
Avatar n tn Trying to figure if problems ae heart? Brain? or both? It first began with me hearing my pulses in my ear. I lost alot of weight and my MD says the auditory nerve is very close to cartoid artery so it picks up pulses. Sometimes pulses are stronger and annoying. I'm 68 yr male, have had all blood work all ok. No procedure to remove this sound but there are other occurrances...sometimes, heart will begin to beat at double its rate and last for hours, even if I am sitting and relaxing.
Avatar f tn Here are some info about CIN 1, Cervical dysplasia refers is abnormal changes in the cells on the surface of the cervix that are seen underneath a microscope. The cervix is the lower part of the uterus (womb) that opens at the top of the vagina. The changes are not cancer. However, they can lead to cancer of the cervix if not treated. I didn't treat the virus, and immediately after one cycle of period, I conceived again.
Avatar f tn Ah, there is also instances where a dental problem can cause excessive sneezing. has kitty had his teeth checked lately? The only other option is an obstruction like nasal polyps, that the vet would tell you if removal was necessary.
645800 tn?1466860955 I've been having a problem with sneezing for quite a while now. I'll have fits where I'll constantly sneeze for 15 - 20 minutes at a time. The sneezing fits happen for no apparent reason and throughout the year and almost daily. Nothing that I have tried seems to help at all. My doctors have also tried various things to help with this (Nasal sprays, allergy medications, etc.).
Avatar f tn A person could be kept alive almost indefinitely on life support, however brain death will occur when the brain loses the ability to control the involuntary activity necessary to sustain life due to a loss of oxygenation of the brain. There is just no way to know how long that process will take. In my brother's case it took 2 days. I hope this helps and good luck.

Avatar f tn m writing and I was wondering if someone with amnesia could recover part of their memories if they almost die since you are supposed to see flashes of them when you suffer a NDE. Is it theorically possible? Since to have amnesia you have to have brain damage, imagine if someone gets shot and loses too much blood. Would they be able to recover their memories?
Avatar m tn Thinks so. Our is DebNevada and it matches what she wrote about here. Did not see her post a resolution.
Avatar n tn I had never heard of anything like this should we get a second opinion? But can the brain heal itself? Replace the nerouns and the cells I thought the younger you were the better the results? Since the brain had shrunk do this mean he have a brain of someone 50 years of age? Etc.
