However, it is only now that I am realizing that the compulsion to take drugs is still alive in me and I am still not completely free. I am asking to Jesus to not only keep me off all my drugs of choice, but to fill up that part of me that is constantly craving 'something'. i have been on this forum for about 6 weeks. my husband was on meth for 14 years and also xanax for the last 3. he just went to detox on feb.26th and is now in a christian rehab.he is now feeling must better by GOD'S MERCY AND GRACE he has turned a corner in his recovery. still only sleeps 2 or 3 hours a night but physically ,mentally and spiritually much better, mind just had to catch up to the body. Awe. So heart warming and it truly is amazing how God can turn something so sad into something so great. I had a friend in high school who passed away suddenly of a heart problem but from her passing both her parents accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts. I did go to my doctor last year with the medication leaflets and asked her if it was possible that my Erectile Dysfunction was due to my medication. I must admit to my embarrassment especially as it was a young good looking female doctor, however I was determined to get an answer whatever. She replied that the medication is giving me a longer life span than I would have without it!
