Avatar f tn Comfy clothes, socks, flip flops, extra hair ties, chap sick, any chargers you might need, lots of undies, sports bra, change for vending machine, ipod/music, I like to bring my own toiletries and toilet paper. Tucks pads are wonderful to put on stitches if you have an episiotomy or tear...
2032869 tn?1333989114 That's a great thing is support!... I wonder how my bd will be lol he's been excited since I'm having a boy. The first time I had the support from my parents and my sister all in the labor room and it was awesome. I got emotional when my dad prayed with me and held my hand when I needed it. I know when I was born he didn't get to witness my birth because I was born so fast and he was in the lobby doing paperwork.
649848 tn?1534633700 The workout tops they sell at wal-mart have a pocket for your MP3 and they are super comfortable! That pocket comes in so handy when youre trying to hold the thing and run!
579258 tn?1250649343 I'll join in and do the best I can, but even though I am back to "regular" hours as of today, my schedule still requires me get up at, what *I* still consider the middle of the night: 3:30 am and not having the thyroid issues worked out yet, I'm more for taking a "back seat" position.

952296 tn?1249305476 I also go upstairs if nothings on put on the music and make sure they are fast beat and dance or move around to it. You can even put a fast track on repeat for 15 to 20 mins and get a good workout for the waist. Yes cut out carbs and sweets/junks and watch the pounds drop off. Oh if like me your tempted to go and nibble in the kitchen have your snacks pre made so you don't wast time. Or go to bed early and make sure your not going to come down, I get weak in the evenings.
511142 tn?1211094019 P And yes, almost all forms of music make me feel right again. With the exceptions of free jazz, (I HATE free form jazz) and some classical. But the rest, rock, punk, hip hop, folk, country, swing, even video game music all seems to make me feel right. Hear things, as in, my thoughts. Which usually don't make much sense.
758077 tn?1282595561 Try to tell yourself that you are ok and the problem is not with you and find a way to either get out of the situation or distract yourself. I use an MP3 player, headphones and my favorite music.
Avatar n tn m wondering whether it was the reason for tinnitus. Also I used to listen music at max volume (shared mp3 player with friend who tend listening really loud) and put headphones only in right ear since in left I couldn't quite muster the loudness. Ever since I'm feeling that plugged/fullness feeling in right ear and it plugs when blowing nose. Sometimes it gets plugged without blowing nose. And when someone speaks loud my right ear makes popping sound/feeling.

490785 tn?1209135077 Does listening to Ipods/MP3 players cause substantial hearing damage? Or is it the type of headphones that is included with the ipod?
Avatar f tn There are several rhythm/dance workouts on youtube. the ones i've tried are called bodyjam. Which there are a few different ones, about 20 minutes each. there's also Core Rhythms, which is your Zumba type dance. And they have the FULL workout (38 minutes) right on youtube....For free! I have a laptop so i can put it on a shelf on my entertainment center in the living room and Poof! Instant private aerobic dance class. Plus you don't have to buy tons of dvds.
293845 tn?1227997530 I rubbed my daughter's foot when she'd push it out. When she was born, she loved to have me rub her foot. Most newborns are too sensitive to that kind of touch. My hubby is a worship leader and becoming a pastor, so we listen to a lot of Christian rock and praise/worship music! Our daughters definitely prefer that sound to other music. There's a song called Angel's Cry that I sing softly when my little ones get upset or are trying to fall asleep. They love it!
401786 tn?1309152034 Hey man, no need to apologize....This site is all about puttin' in our own opinions right? Yeah, I'm always listening to music, stuff I've downloaded or via mp3 player, or YouTube...I just put it out as a thought. To be honest, I don't know a thing about computers and web sites to know what's expensive let alone how to accomplish such a request...
Avatar n tn Ok, listen, phobias of the dark can have to do with more than just fearing the dark itself, it can have to do with stress which is hard for some parents to understand, but children do get stressed! Even in the summer. Okay, so 6 isn't really very old and lots of 6 year olds are scared of the dark. I was too and a lamp didn't help me, I had to leave all the lights on.
1515545 tn?1291395764 If you google pink noise and white noise you can find some mp3 downloads that can help with canceling out noises...I also have a nature sounds cd playing all the time in the kitchen for a calmer atmosphere...Just trying to help by mentioning some things to help with bothersome noises...
9658230 tn?1406070138 Try this free relaxation track. Https://hypnobabies.com/free-mp3 . It works so well.
1713494 tn?1327519682 There must be SOMETHING you like? Swimming? Dancing? Walking? Cycling? Hiking? Exercise doesn't have to be done in a gym. Maybe join a class of something like Zumba with a friend, that way there's someone you actually let down if you don't go, so you're more likely to keep it up! Lol. Or just go walking; either together with a friend or walk a neighbors dog, or turn up your favorite album loud on your mp3 player and walk til it's over...
790071 tn?1291901427 If you can create some relatively small playlists, you could store them on your mp3 player, and be able to listen to the music wherever you are, while still doing other things that need to be done.
3112530 tn?1434032033 I also take my electric wheelchair down to the beach, crank up my favorite music and just jam to the music. People watch me just jamming to the music and think I am nuts but it really helps put a smile on my face and gets my mind off my pain. Try it, it is worth the time it takes to complain about the pain.
Avatar f tn I know when I went for a checkup once they allowed me to have my MP3 player with me. Had music blasting in my ears as I was worked on. So if the dentist understands your situation I will say he will allow your husband in. Just explain about your anxiety condition. I am sure they get loads of people similar to you in. You won't be the first.
