168077 tn?1200231377 I have had my period delayed due to work outs. So, yes this is possible. I ran in the country music mini-marathon in April of this year. I trained almost everyday for 6-7 months. I did get pregnant in December of 2007 and miscarried in early March 2008. I slowed down my workouts during pregnancy, but after the miscarraige I got right back up on the horse (as they say). Complete the 13.1 miles in 3 hours and 29 minutes.

483733 tn?1326798446 is one that I think has an ok balance of music, interesting moves, etc. I know he is totally cheesy, and some of his workout moves are not very good--like "jazz hands" type of stuff! But as the weather makes it harder to get out, I'll probably be popping him in more. I also have all but the 1st of the Biggest Loser DVDs. They take advanatge of the DVD format and let you pick which workout you want to do at a given session so that you can customize the length and difficulty.

But if your current fitness level would more comparable to a sloth's, you might be setting yourself up for failure. If your goals aren't attainable, they ain't gonna happen. Maybe it's simpler than marathons and mountains--a smaller dress size or going three flights of stairs without gasping. No matter the desire, it's important to keep perspective and perseverance in mind.
Avatar f tn Am on day 13, first week I lost only 1 lbs, I went for a f/u on thursday doc added phentermine thinking maybe it would speed up the process, on sat when I weighed I lost 2 lbs, as of today I haven't lost anymore :/ I have hypothyroid and my levels are under control. I eat 400-550 cal a day,drink plenty of water,I weigh all my chicken & fish and am working out-but still no luck,this is getting kind of frustrating!!!

I also like to write when I'm craving if not on her atleast in a journal just a distraction. I'm not sure about meetings, I'm going to my first on Tues. I hope you find something that works.

My question is: am I OK to wear headphones at the gym? I really want to go later but can't get through a workout without some music to keep me entertained. What about if I keep the volume quite low?

Avatar m tn Um I had this fir a week in the summer the no feeling. The only full feeling I felt was joy and being hyper when I had Alvin and the chipmiunks on lol. But that would only last like half and hour to and hour then the rest of the day I would be like down but not completly feeling it. Like when my sister said somthing to me that would usualy make me snap I was a little mad but once again couldent feel the full emotion.

Avatar m tn 04 pace and in August 2008, I ran a half marathon at a 7:44 pace and experienced similar symptoms but not as severe as when I ran the 5 mile race. Recently, I started training again for the same 5 mile race I ran last April and the same 20K I ran last May. I've attempted to increase my speed to around a 7:10 pace and have started having Bradycardia symptoms again. My resting heart rate earlier today was around 39 to 40 BPM.
Avatar f tn The one I bought had suggestions of what workouts to do with your baby wrapped on you. There are many workout options for mothers. Maybe you can do video workouts when your baby is sleeping. About baby workouts, all I do with my 6 month old is make sure she is active. I have a walker for her so I place her in it for a while. She walks around a lot in it. I also put her on the floor where she rolls everywhere.

Avatar f tn Watch a movie or TV while you work out. Honestly, that's the only way I can workout for any extended period of time. I invested in a stationary bike and treadmill so that I can get my mind off working out while I'm working out. Earlier today I ran four miles and did 15 minutes of strength training while watching Pirates of the Caribbean on TV. If I didn't have something to watch, I would work out for maybe 10-15 minutes and then get bored. Today I did an hour.

My Saturday so far as an early morning workout, a nice shower, then relaxin' with some coffee and playing music on my computer while I checked out MedHelp and my other fav sites. Then I shopped! I'm going to a wedding next week and needed to but a gift and get some accessories.

Avatar f tn I get these at nights and that's it. I can go to sleep for maybe a couple of hours and I wake up with these attacks. When it happens I feel like I'm alone and no one is there(literally) or I think about bad things. Like losing people... It jist makes me cry.. Does anyone go through this? How do you handle it? What should I do?
