2204316 tn?1338833844 I was on 4 different eye drops, had antibiotics (oral and 2 shots), steroids, and saw 3 different doctors. It finally cleared up but the vision in my left eye is now changed. It is blurry and I see a halo around lights at night. The opthamologist said my eyes were dry and advised me to use dry eye drops. I had just gotten new glasses and contacts a couple months before and now I can't wear my contacts and can't see that well with my glasses.
Avatar f tn Well, I know that spots and vision changes can be associated with preeclampsia and other health issues. It may also be no big deal though. Drink a lot of water to stay hydrated and call your doctor just to keep them in the loop. They may want you to come in and it's always better to be safe than sorry. Good luck!
915119 tn?1341948989 I had vision changes with both my pregnancies...Always started in the first trimester...I noticed that my glasses started becoming stronger and giving me headaches. I couldn't wear them sometimes...I remember reading a while ago "What to Expect When Expecting Book" and it said it was common to have vision changes...
7891785 tn?1397532007 Has anyone had changes in vision since being pregnant? I JUST had an eye exam like 2 wks before i got pregnant got my new glasses and such, prescription was totally different than my last. I use to be able to see fine w/out my glasses. Now i struggle to walk w/out them. I know it is also affected by the new prescription, but it shouldnt be affected this much. I know i need to go back and see my eye dr, and i do plan to, just curious if anyone else has had issues with their vision changing.
Avatar f tn A few months back I had a horrible eye infection...a week later my vision was hazy and I went to the Ophthalmologist he said I had infiltrates and prescribed Lotemax. I was on it for about a month but I never got 100%, still can hardly see at night (see glare, starburst and halos) I had to go to the doctor every week for a checkup. Well, on my last checkup with the Ophthalmologist I felt as if he just blew me off saying that it was just going to take time.
Avatar f tn The classic signs of optic neuritis are pain in/behind the eye, pain with movement of the eye, color desaturation in the affected eye, and sometimes aberations of light and vision. Most often there are shadows in one of the visual fields. Change in prescription/acuity are not typical signs. I'm glad you have an appointment with a neurologist coming up. Make sure you tell him about this and about the results of the Ophtho visit. And tell us how it goes!
Avatar f tn I did but I actually had extreme light sensitivity and small vision changes. It went back to normal after. This second pregnancy I've had some blurriness and light sensitivity but it seems to adjust itself.
Avatar n tn ve been having really weird vision. Everything looks so much smaller and farther away and it ruined my depth perception. I keep walking into things. Anybody know if it'll go away? I can still see fine, decent clarity as always. Just depth perception, really.
Avatar f tn I am 16 years of age and for the past week I have been experiencing extreme body temperature changes almost like heat flashes. At one point my face will go tomato red and I'll feel like I'm in the desert and another moment I'll be teeth chattering cold. Sometimes I'll even feel hot but other people touch my skin and it feels like ice. I've also had lots of nausea, a little bit if dizziness, and one or two moments of blurred vision.
Avatar m tn My worst symptoms were SEVERE depression, fragmented sleep, horrible hair loss and graying, skin aging, and vision deterioration (very blurry vision). Estrogen has helped a lot and, in fact, cured my severe depression and helps immensely with sleep. I am still not the person I was prior to being de-sexed but I am at least functional and no longer want to end my life. I am still angry and don't think I will ever get over being betrayed by my long-time gynecologist.
Avatar f tn Studies show that ovary removal or post-hysterectomy ovarian failure increases risk for many health problems including heart disease (the #1 killer of women), osteoporosis, hip fracture, cognitive and memory impairment, dementia, Parkinsonism, mood disorders (depression, mood swings, anxiety, irritability), vision and skin changes, poor sleep quality, urogenital atrophy, sexual dysfunction, more severe hot flushes (I think that's all of them!).
1514130 tn?1291179783 Hi, blood results were not good. Estrogen had increased to 640, progesterone had dropped to 29 and beta was 3. However, they want me to retest on Saturday as yesterday was only day 6! I'm not too hopeful anyway. Hope u ladies have more luck.
Avatar n tn I just had a second biopsy that found many of the cells are loosing their Estrogen Receptivity. Has any body heard of HR status changing and how could this happen?
Avatar m tn The fact that you stopped the pill should not cause the abnormal result unless you are menopausal and there are some changes at menopause that can cause the Pap to appear abnormal but it is really normal for that age group. In this case they often prescribe a vaginal estroegen cream.

678918 tn?1226751211 Hi, I know that caffeine that is found in tea, coffee, cocoa, chocolate and soda can cause cysts to develop.I heard that even decaffeinated drinks are not so safe.Hope someone else can give you more info about how much caffeine is really safe to eat or drink daily. All the best to you.
Avatar m tn I had my eyes checked and after having perfect vision needed glasses!
Avatar f tn Since you are in menopausal age group then consult a gynecologist and rule out hormone imbalance and low estrogen as the cause of your headaches. Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please discuss these possibilities with your doctor once. You may need some tests for confirmed diagnosis which may include blood tests, MRI etc. Hope this helps. Take care!
Avatar m tn I also had an extreme feeling of disconnect from my body and mind. After the panic subsided, I realized that the vision changes had not gone away. I quickly needed to leave. As I was driving home the cars in front of me and everything around me felt dream like. Nothing was as crisp as it used to be. I have problems reading because the letters on the page look like a confusing mess. crowded places are hard for me.
Avatar m tn It seem the distance vision with my right eye has gotten worse but the near reading vision is still excellent, COuld that be explained by the cataracts? or could it be something else .
