The time has come for my test. I fly to the states on sunday my wife made me an appointment at the health clinic. Does anyone know what type of testing the do at the local health clinic? how long ill have to wait for the results. Im scared to death that the time has come. but will be a relief to know either way.

I fingered a sex worker, whose vaginal secretions where sticky and dry, I had no apparent cuts or open bleeding wounds on my index inger while fingering ,after 1 to 2 minutes, I felt so low of my self that I ran out and rinsed my hands in a cup of water but I didnt wash them say like soap or under a tap.

t fully understand the HIV DNA PCR test and have had difficulty digging up information about it. It seems to only test HIV-1 A-H types and not the other HIV-1 type(s?) or HIV-2.
Also, I see people continuously regurgitating the following line:
Retest at 3 months, then 6 months, etc etc (with ELISA/EIA+WB).
How many different kinds of HIV do they have? I only know about HIV-1 and HIV-2. Are there more that a test wouldn't be able to pick up. I took the Elisa test Homeaccess test at 9 months after my exposure. Are there more types the CDC is not telling us?
i dreamed that she has hiv, i asked her to go with me to do the test and her result was anti-hiv positive. i made my elisa test(67 days after oral sex,52 days after risk day,20 days after last time) and the result was anti-bodies anti-hiv negative. the doctor told me that this test is very good and that i could know if i am positive even 1 week after the exposure.
Examination of Elisa on the 90th day of the practice would be conclusive except that the examination was fast or slow?
can`t stand thinking of lab errors or rare HIV types that HIV 1/2 doesn`t catch..
we can not understand,which standerd test is conclussive. there are ELISA, Westrn Blot test and Immunocromatography .
in the third world world, most popular test is Immunocromatography. But it is a rapid test.
is it an acceptable for conclussive 3 months test.
meny of them suffered many symptoms after that the result come negative. it is good news. but the symptoms running with the negative result.for that we are really scared and mentally seriously suffered.

I had unprotected vaginal sex with a girl I met (not a csw), couple of weeks later, i got all types of symptoms, white dots on my tongue with a very bad breath, severe headaches, fever, nausea & diarrhea. took a rapid antibody test (finger test) at 9 weeks, was negative. took another Elisa Duo test at 11 weeks and 13 weeks also negative. took a full hepatitis test (A,B,C & E) on week 10, all negative.
There are no tests reliable at 2.5 weeks and rapid tests are ELISA tests. All antibody tests are conclusive at 3 months post exposure.
