After my expsoure I did a complete STI screening by 9th week including HIV & Syphilis and all came negative. Then end of 12th week I did a finger prick HIV test and that was also negative. After that I was having unprotected sex with my wife now exactly 100th day from my initial exposure I was facing heavy fever(102) and few small red dots in my hand & legs(never came before in my life). Today 105th day from exposure I am diagonised with Typhoid and urinary infection.

I was having protected sex with a prostitute but the condom tore slightly in the end. after 5 months i got recurring fever for 15 days the fever used to come in evening and vanish after eating paracetamol..i was tested typhoid positive by Widal test but my illness was finally cured by Lumerax 80(malaria) tablet( i was tested negative for malaria). I was afraid of HIV..i tested myself after 7 months by ELISA HIV Duo ultra and it came to be negative...inspite of this i am afraid...
mean time i consulted my doc for diagnosis were i was asked to take a blood test for platelet count , wbc count and a dengue fever check out of which all came out to be normal .... since my condition din improve i was asked to check for Typhoid fever the results were 1:40 , 1:80 although not significant enough my doc felt i might have a mild typhoid and prescribed me some medication .. even after the completion of the antibiotic course i don feel any good .. i still have the same symptoms ..
No, the antibody component is not "weaker" than that of a standard antibody test. Both tests are accurate. Your test was conclusive, again.
The fever is not related. Your temp was about 99.5, that's not consistent with an ARS related fever anyway. Fevers, when they are associated with a new HIV infection are almost always very high (above 101F). What you describe (feeling warm inside) sounds like anxiety.
You need to put this behind you once and for all.

I admit to hospital for 3 days and my doctor gave iv antibiotic after that i was discharge and continue with oral antibiotic. Still i feel same symptoms. How many days will the synptoms disappered after medication? Please to hear?

14 i visited Max Hospital(Its a very reputed hospital) and i was tested for around 10 blood test including HIV1/HIV2(ELISA),all of them came negetive.Dr. prescribed me Vitamin D/E tablets and calcium tab.
After that i had a unprotected sex with my wife,and she also started feeling Loss of apetite/Rashes/Severe fatigue/Enlarged Breasts/Headache.
I have again tested 2 times again for HIV-ELISA(last test was in March'14) which again came negetive.

Hi, welcome to the forum, yes, the symptoms you have mentioned can be seen in typhoid fever. This can be confirmed by a test known as widal test which shows the raised titres of typhoid antigen. The skin manifestations can also be seen with allergic dermatitis but the fever and headache doesn't fit in the diagnosis.
After the confirmation of the typhoid, ensure complete antibiotic therapy to prevent the relapse in the future.
If they took a blood sample it may have just been for the eos count and this antibody test for the Widals test. If you do get the stool culture to check for typhoid or Salmonella perhaps you can check for ova and parasites too since your Eos were high. Let me know if you have any questions. The dry cough does sound possibly viral. Can you eat and drink without having stomach problems?
t stop there, I also experienced fever, shivering within, sweats in the afternoon, Diarrhoea, dryness of mouth, sour mouth. I went to a doctor, test for malaria and typhoid were carried and it read that i had typhoid fever. I was given injections for about 5days. Didn't experience those symptoms again, untill in June. They came back again. I started taking pain killers like ibuprofen, daclofenac and amoxyl(antibiotics) tablets to ease the pain. I also started coughing.

Rheumatoid arthritis too can cause swollen lymph nodes and fever. Hence, may be she is having a flare of rheumatoid arthritis. This needs to be ruled out.
Hello, i have symptoms of fever, headache, body pain and last june 24, after two wks i was diagnose of typhoid fever, after a wk of medication and test its negatve and i start drinking alcohol, then i feel again the symptoms, i was admit to hospital and treated for iv antibiotics, all cbc are normal but i am positive for dengue igg. After 3 days i was discharge and continue oral antibiotic until now but i still suffering headache, low fever every afternoon, and nausea.
Doctors diagnosis shows symptoms of typhoid but even after typhoid treatment, she keeps on getting fever. It seems to happen with her since she was 9 years old. She is now 20 and facing the same problem now. Doctor is unable to find the cause of disease, even after all possible tests has been done. She shows on other symptoms beside high fever. So please anybody suggest me what is this case, whether it is some disease of anything else and what should i do.
After month of thinking i am clear of this ****, i was not and i again developed tyhpid when i started to have fever on and off again, i went for typhoid test it came back positive. The doctor wrote a stool culture and sensitivity test.

Till the time you take your child to the doctor,pls maintain the hydration/fluid electrolyte level of the child by ORS or by juices or drinks which the child likes(except carbonated drinks).
Hi, 26 months ago, I had protected sex three times with a sex worker in one night. I used manforce condoms which are the top most quality brands in India. I did no kiss, no vagina sucking and no oral sex. I did not have any serious health issue till today. but sometimes in last 2 years I had common cold for 3-6 days maximum 4 to 5 times. Once I had also viral fever for 5 days but I did not notice anything special.
