I happened to open my new bottle by accident and inside are bright orange pills!! The bottle says doxycycline hyclate. Does anyone know if there is a difference? I dont know why the pharmacy filled it with the orange tablets, ive only been taking the brown and white pills.
I can't find too much info online about the difference. And my pharmacy is now closed until Monday and I have no doxy left that is the brown and white kind.

I have been taking doxycycline hyclate for several weeks, would symptoms (e.g. sore tendons in the back of mu legs, momentary soreness in muscles, white filliform papilae) show up sooner (i.e. within 3-5 days) than the normal period? that didnt help.so i went to this doc who has prescribed me Doxycycline Hyclate for 20 days. i started this doxycycline hyclate drug on june 19. and there is improvement 1st day itself. there was relatively lesser discharge today. also, i didnt feel any block in my ear whole day which i used to feel before.
He tested me with the urethra swab and gave my doxycycline hyclate, just in case I had any infections. I also went into the free health clinic for the same gono and chlamydia test but also got blood for syphilis, didn't bother for hiv because it was too early. After I started taking the Doxycycline hyclate, I got a cough. Got both tests back, all negative. (Hiv and herpes are untested and unkown) Cough is still on going for 4 weeks now.
then i got sick with allergies and cold symptoms so my sister took me to carenow where i got doxycycline hyclate 100mg 2x a day for 10 days to clear up my sinus infection. right after i stopped taking the doxycycline i went to the dentist for a bad cavitity on my back tooth and got amoxicillin 500mg 3x a day for 10 days. it is possible that those meds not only cleared up what they were prescribed for but the std as well?

My boyfriend and I have simultaneously started doxycycline hyclate 100mg 2x daily for treatment of ureaplama parvum. We were three doses in to the treatment and I gave him unprocted oral sex, he did not finish in my mouth but we put on a condom and had vaginal intercourse where he did finish inside me but in the condom. We took our next scheduled dose after sex and then again this morning.

Hello sir , I am 22 yrs old & I had swelling on the foreskin of my penis for which my doctor prescribed cetrizine , doxycycline hyclate tablets & Lobate gm ointment (i had no idea that it contains steroid) .After 5 to 6 days that swelling or inflammation was gone . BUT now i guess there is ulcer or sore on the tip of my penis(not the foreskin) .Now My doctor has prescribed CIFRAN 500 & Doxycycline .Is it balantis or something related to syphilis ?? what should i do now ?

Was this dose of antibiotics enough to mess with my results? What do you recommend? How risky is it to be infected by chlamydia or gonorehha through protected vaginal and unprotected oral sex?
Now I go to my urologist and all he says is you should take doxycycline before anything else and sets me on my way. I take doxycycline Hyclate for 7 days, 2 pills a day. Not only did this not work but it made my tongue yellow.. Why?? I just came back from my second visit to the urologist and i forgot to mention the yellowing of my tongue. I told him i still have symptoms of leakage with no actual leakage, at least I don't think there's any leakage.
( I tested negative for Gonorrhea ) I would of never imagined that I had an STD. So my GYNO prescribed my partner and I Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg each 1 capsule for 14 days. I only took the "Hyclate" version for a few days Bc my insurance would not cover it and I had to pay out of pocket for it...So, my Dr. Changed the prescription over to the Doxycycline Mono 100mg that my insurance was willing to cover. Well after still had same symptoms so put in for another treatment this time metronidazole and doxycycline hyclate. Had a pee test and came back negative after first treatment that was mind blowing cause i still had all symptoms. So getting another test tomorrow but definitely worried because gonereah and clap are easy to fix and here it is after two treatments I'm still having problems.
