I cannot even put on my makeup without first slathering cream and aquaphor ointment on my face. I get microdermabrasion once every two weeks, and have even had UV light therapy. i take it you were looking at the light while wearing some sort of protection (ie googles) if not you will have subjected your eyes to large quantities on uv light - more than in is normal sunlight - high levels of uv or high unexpected sun exposure can be linked to cataracts! please tell me you were protected as your post does not make that clear!!

My question relates to something rather trivial though - as UV lights are used in entertainment to emphasise teh bright colours etc - its known as black light. To me however I can now see it! I see the light reflecting of virtually everything - not just the brightcolours. Black light now creates an annoying purple glare. If I can see this end of the light spectrum - are the lenses not doing their job in terms of protecting the retina from other dangerous wavelengths?
