cymbalta diarrhea

This went on for 10 days and I read on a blog to try prilosec, which stopped the diarrhea. While I had the diarrhea I also had a loss of appetite and was not eating much. To my shock, when I weighed myself after the 10 days I had gained 3 pounds! How is that possible? Now that the diarrhea has stopped my appetite has remained normal, and I have gained another 5 pounds. I'm thinking of going back down to 30 mg.

Hello all. My partner has just stopped taking Cymbalta (60 mg after 3 + years) and started taking Pristiq (50 mg). She has been on it for 6 days and she has had diarrhea and vomiting for 3 out of those 6 days. Has anyone experienced these types of side effects on Pristiq? I know everyone is different and we're hoping that her body will adjust to it and start working. I'm also wondering if she is sick due to abruptly stopping the Cymbalta (her dr.

Has anyone taken Cymbalta for depression? If so, how long...what were the side effects if any? How long have you been taking it....are you happy with it?

I started Cymbalta over six weeks ago. Switched from Celexa which was maxed out. Everything went super smooth. No digestive problems at all. All of a sudden six weeks later I get diarrhea. It has lasted almost a month. Just recently it isn't watery, but it's still sof, but formed sometime. My Dr.believes it is the Cymbalta. Any body else have this happen weeks after starting a new anxiety med.

I Normally lean towards the constipation side. I started a med called Cymbalta. Everything was fine until six weeks after starting it. I have had diarrhea for almost a month. I am a little better with soft strangely formed stools. Any ideas?

How long were you taking the Cymbalta? The doctor should have probably weened you off of the Cymbalta before switching to the Zoloft, or lowered one does while increasing the other at the same time. 200mg seems to be a big jump. Chances are, though, that quitting the Zoloft/Cymbalta suddenly is causing most of your symptoms. You should always ween yourself of of any AD/Anxiety medication and never stop them cold-turkey.

100mg daily of Ultram down to 50mg daily in one week; and from 90mg daily Cymbalta to 30 mg. a day in one week? I feel like I could bite nails in half. My head is in a vice and has these startling wooshing-type things. My legs are getting restless. I'm tired but I can't sleep very well. Any help at all would be appreciated.

Hello LA, Thanks so much for the response to my rant yesterday. I feel better today. Still have the double vision but like always my friends here cheer me up. To answer your question. I was on Cymbalta for about 6 weeks. I asked to be taken off of it. It was making me feel strange. Very "short Fused", irritated, grouchy. I started taking Effexor when this started and I went back to it just a higher dose now. I have seen where people here have got on it and it has helped very well.

This week I will be starting a double-blind study to see if 30 mg is effective for FMS pain. I won't know for some time if I'm using the placebo or the actual Cymbalta. I am sensitive to medications and I am a skeptic, since I've done badly on everything I've tried before. I do more natural therapy than I do pharmaceutical. I guess I will also find out if this stuff will help with the number of and intensity of the chronic migraines, too.

some people have very uncomfortable symptoms, and others have none at all. Starting the Cymbalta may reduce your withdrawal to some extent, as Cymbalta is a serotonin (and norepinephrine) reuptake blocker, and some of the withdrawal from Tramadol comes from changes in serotonin activity. The withdrawal is not 'dangerous', so do your best to avoid concentrating on them. Distraction is one thing that can help reduce withdrawal symptoms.

t want to go through life half asleep and quit Cymbalta cold turkey. The withdrawals are horrible - diarrhea, migraine (worst of my life) nausea, dizziness, brain fog - the worst day so far was about 6 days after quitting. Mentally I feel pretty good; physically - not so much. I hope to feel human again soon.

I have had diarrhea since Aparil everytime I eat or drink. I was taking Cymbalta them and that is when it began. I am not even finished eating and it starts. I have it about 10 to 15 times a day and sometimes it comes out like water. What can be causing it? I stopped taking Cymbalta the end of April. I can't even go anywhere until I take an antidiarrhea pill. I don't know if it is good to take too many of them.

This is my 2 1/2 week taking Cymbalta (60 mg) & I am so tired in the morning after take it, very light headed and just weird & weak feeling. I was switched to Cymbalta awhile back. After 4 weeks I got diarrhea and ended up losing almost 30 lbs in a month. Needless to say I was switched to a different med. I have been on Effexor 75 mg. for a couple of months and still get the jitters, especially upon awakening and afternoon. Should med be upped or try something different. I started tapering down and things were fine so I reinstated 75 mg. Jitters are back. Do I need more med for residual anxiety or a different med?

Because if you are weaning down off of the Cymbalta and beginning the Savella, this might make more sense? To pull you off your Cymbalta abruptly might shock your system.

I would like to ask your opinion- I took my Cymbalta Wed (12/4) morning as normal (been on it 4-5 yrs for depression but been depression free since 10/2012) anyway Wed 12/4 I went into the hospital for a scheduled Gastric Bypass Reversal (long story) and I did not find out until the next morning 12/5/13 that I could not have the cymbalta that day.

Don't take abilify with Cymbalta! I take Cymbalta and then I was also put on abilify shortly before my family and I went on vacation to Disneyworld and it was the worst time I ever had! I felt like I was going to jump out of my skin! I was so agitated and could not sleep. I would pace at night! I did get off abilify when I got back and am just on Cymbalta now and am better but I am experiencing things like headaches and heart palpitations so may be getting off Cymbalta, too.

I started vomiting and had diarrhea. Anytime I got up the room would spin. Today I did not wake up till 11 am. When I did get up and did some errands I had to go back to bed. The room would spin while lying down and when I would try to get up I was so dizzy I could hardly stand. Any help with how to deal with this?
