Possim, that's great news! I hope the liquid oxy helps you. Personally I think the oxy is probably stronger than morphine, so what i would do is stay with that for now and then when your tolerance goes up, which eventually it will, just a fact of life, you would have the option to switch to the liquid morphine for a while. Many doctors do this so they don't have to keep increasing the dosages too high.
m a 25 year old woman who was diagnosed with Small Fiber Neuropathy about 7 months ago. I have difficulty swallowing pills and have been given liquid Neurontin to help relieve the symptoms. I have also been given vitamins B6 and B12, as I was a little defficient with those. The Neurontin really isn't helping much and I am in a lot of pain.

Hello. I am currently on Cymbalta. After I had my daughter i was having alot of body pain (also going through PPD) and noone could figure out why, so they put me on cymbalta. I have been on AD for about 10 years for mainly anxiety. I really want to switch my cymbalta to something else...in the SSRI group, because my insurance doesn't cover Cymbalta well and it's expensive! One problem. I tend to get BAD withdrals from just going down on antidepressants. More physical than anything.

Hi, My doctor wants to put me on cymbalta for nerve pain that I have been having from an injury I have from 2005. It's nerve pain from a fall I took. He says it will help to calm down the nerves and signals from my brain to help with the pain. The prescription is for 30mg, 1 tab a day then increase to 2 tabs and recheck with him in a month. I'm alittle scared to take this, as I have never had to go on this kind of medicene and I'm afraid what the side effects might do.
Only took Cymbalta for 3 months but had side effects of being off balance lightheaded feeling like I am walking in a boat now I being taken off the drug and having nightmares the sweats headaches anyone had this experience with this drug?
I have tried it all! Everybody is different. I am on 60mg of Cymbalta. I can't not take it though because it messes me up (if my insurance is messing around etc...) but if youre ready to be consistent, I'd try it.

That being said, her doctor was wise to switch her over to another medication like Cymbalta. 30Mgs of Cymbalta is a good starting point and this gives him option to ramp the dosage up as needed.
Regardless of this fact, Cymbalta, May or may not be an effective medication for her. I tried Cymbalta for 7 weeks at 60Mgs per day (after 4 years on Effexor) and in my case it did NOTHING to help with my condition.
Cymbalta made my depression worse and made me pretty nauseated. But then, I never do respond to psychotropic drugs or antidepressants very well.
My Dr. wanted me to try low dose Cymbalta for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and did not have the 30 mg samples so i was given the 60 mg with instructions to empty the capsules into food, as this would reduce the dose by approximately half. I became very ill with vomiting and severe diarreah. I was up all night running to the bathroom and was concerned when i looked up information on cymbalta that said not to open capsules.
I had insomnia and fibromyalgia. My doctor put me on Cymbalta. He said it would help me with sleep and pain. It was 2 weeks of hell, no sleep and constant pain and I wanted to kill myself!!! I was not depressed and have no history of depression. my doctor switched me to amitriptyline. It helps with sleep but not pain, I would never recommend Cymbalta to anyone !
I am 38 years old and 5weeks prego with #3. I have been taking 30mg of cymbalta for the past two years. I don't see the doctor until January 14. Has anyone taken cymbalta while prego and is it safe???
