Cymbalta liquid

Common Questions and Answers about Cymbalta liquid

cymbalta

Avatar f tn Possim, that's great news! I hope the liquid oxy helps you. Personally I think the oxy is probably stronger than morphine, so what i would do is stay with that for now and then when your tolerance goes up, which eventually it will, just a fact of life, you would have the option to switch to the liquid morphine for a while. Many doctors do this so they don't have to keep increasing the dosages too high.
Avatar f tn m a 25 year old woman who was diagnosed with Small Fiber Neuropathy about 7 months ago. I have difficulty swallowing pills and have been given liquid Neurontin to help relieve the symptoms. I have also been given vitamins B6 and B12, as I was a little defficient with those. The Neurontin really isn't helping much and I am in a lot of pain.
Avatar m tn Cryosurgery using liquid nitrogen and laser are the main treatment modalities. Although there are many skin creams like hydroquinone and salicylic acid, but their use needs prescription .I would recommend a dermatologist’s consultation for this. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar n tn Hello. I am currently on Cymbalta. After I had my daughter i was having alot of body pain (also going through PPD) and noone could figure out why, so they put me on cymbalta. I have been on AD for about 10 years for mainly anxiety. I really want to switch my cymbalta to something else...in the SSRI group, because my insurance doesn't cover Cymbalta well and it's expensive! One problem. I tend to get BAD withdrals from just going down on antidepressants. More physical than anything.
Avatar n tn I have systemic sclerosis and have chronic gastric ulcers (no H-pyloric) and food bezoars for 10 years. I am supposed to be on liquid diet (I am not) and have gastroparesis and have gained 40 pounds in past two years. I have hypothyroidism for 33 years and empty sella syndrome. Because my TSH is always messed up docs keeping reducing levothyroxine dramatically, 2 years ago I was in a coma due to hypothyroidism and UTI which went to brain.
5265383 tn?1669040108 I take it. I've been taking it for years for fibro pain. For me it worked well enough that I have not had to do the Cymbalta, etc., thing, which is good because I'm averse to those unless absolutely necessary. Too many side effects. I hope the dose is OK for you too. I'm taking 4.5mg - I don't know if there are other doses being used out there - and I have found that I can even take opioids in a pinch while on it - because that dose really IS so low.
18283265 tn?1463778032 It has also been suggested to me to switch from paxil to cymbalta, as cymbalta will help with all the aches and pains more than the paxil. But I am literally TERRIFIED to change meds as I have had such difficult experiences in the past. I do have klonopin that I can take as needed, but I'm so afraid of addiction to another med that I have taken like one in the past two years. I practice lots of meditation, yoga, and other therapeutic practices.
Avatar m tn Hi, My doctor wants to put me on cymbalta for nerve pain that I have been having from an injury I have from 2005. It's nerve pain from a fall I took. He says it will help to calm down the nerves and signals from my brain to help with the pain. The prescription is for 30mg, 1 tab a day then increase to 2 tabs and recheck with him in a month. I'm alittle scared to take this, as I have never had to go on this kind of medicene and I'm afraid what the side effects might do.
Avatar m tn Only took Cymbalta for 3 months but had side effects of being off balance lightheaded feeling like I am walking in a boat now I being taken off the drug and having nightmares the sweats headaches anyone had this experience with this drug?
400867 tn?1371753094 So I took my first Cymbalta today. Other than Paxil, nothing else has worked for me (Lexapro and Effexor). Anyone have any good experiences with Cymbalta? Just wondering what I'm in for this time... Thanks!!
Avatar f tn Would you recommend stopping Effexor and switching to Cymbalta? Will Cymbalta reduce the withdrawal effect? My daughters were both recently put on Cymbalta, and their depression is much better, and they claim they are "thinking more clearly". Thanks for your input.
4753943 tn?1359934569 Did your doc just tell you to stop the Effexor and start the Cymbalta? What dose of Effexor are you stopping at, and what dose of Cymbalta are you starting at? Some people have seamless transitions, while others report some symptoms of a discontinuation syndrome, like you mentioned above. Hopefully, you'll have a smooth transition. Definitely let us know how you're feeling.
Avatar n tn I have tried it all! Everybody is different. I am on 60mg of Cymbalta. I can't not take it though because it messes me up (if my insurance is messing around etc...) but if youre ready to be consistent, I'd try it.
Avatar f tn HI I am going to the doctor on the 13th of june to get on an antidepressant.
Avatar m tn That being said, her doctor was wise to switch her over to another medication like Cymbalta. 30Mgs of Cymbalta is a good starting point and this gives him option to ramp the dosage up as needed. Regardless of this fact, Cymbalta, May or may not be an effective medication for her. I tried Cymbalta for 7 weeks at 60Mgs per day (after 4 years on Effexor) and in my case it did NOTHING to help with my condition.
Avatar n tn Can anyone tell me what kind of side affects they have experienced with cymbalta?
233622 tn?1279334905 Hello LA, Thanks so much for the response to my rant yesterday. I feel better today. Still have the double vision but like always my friends here cheer me up. To answer your question. I was on Cymbalta for about 6 weeks. I asked to be taken off of it. It was making me feel strange. Very "short Fused", irritated, grouchy. I started taking Effexor when this started and I went back to it just a higher dose now. I have seen where people here have got on it and it has helped very well.
Avatar n tn Cymbalta made my depression worse and made me pretty nauseated. But then, I never do respond to psychotropic drugs or antidepressants very well.
Avatar n tn My Dr. wanted me to try low dose Cymbalta for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and did not have the 30 mg samples so i was given the 60 mg with instructions to empty the capsules into food, as this would reduce the dose by approximately half. I became very ill with vomiting and severe diarreah. I was up all night running to the bathroom and was concerned when i looked up information on cymbalta that said not to open capsules.
Avatar m tn I had insomnia and fibromyalgia. My doctor put me on Cymbalta. He said it would help me with sleep and pain. It was 2 weeks of hell, no sleep and constant pain and I wanted to kill myself!!! I was not depressed and have no history of depression. my doctor switched me to amitriptyline. It helps with sleep but not pain, I would never recommend Cymbalta to anyone !
3547166 tn?1347814000 Does anyone have any personal experience with Cymbalta? I have recently been prescribed Cymbalta and I would like to know if it is a good treatment for Anxiety and Depression. Thank you in advance for any informtion.
3547166 tn?1347814000 I was recently prescribed Cymbalta for severe Anxiety. I am taking it but I haven't been on it long enough for it to start working yet. Does anyone have any personal experience with this medication? Does anyone know how well this medication will work? I am worried it won't work at all. My Psychiatrist has tried me on so many different medications.
4186651 tn?1357830957 So pcp says don't take the Gabapentin here try cymbalta? They both seem to have bad side affects!? Anyone have experiences or advice on cymbalta? Oh, and now am having a horrible pulling sensations in my throat?
Avatar n tn I am 38 years old and 5weeks prego with #3. I have been taking 30mg of cymbalta for the past two years. I don't see the doctor until January 14. Has anyone taken cymbalta while prego and is it safe???
599378 tn?1240665606 Hi...I took cymbalta until I found out that I was pregnant with my 3 yr old (like a year or two) and I didn't think that it really helped me personally. It does take 3 to 4 weeks to know if a med is helping, however if you think that you are vomiting because of the med then I would ask for a different med! I know that towards the end I was only taking it because of the withdrawl I would experience if I did not take it. When I finally had to stop completly the withdrawl was AWFUL!
