Also, red grapes as well and vitamin C (like oranges). Also, while on the low carb diet watch the salt intake.
Avatar f tn If chips are your weakness, try making kale chips, you can sprinkle on parmasean cheese. Also goes great over popcorn (buy the kernels and microwave in a brown paper bag). Any type of fruit. I make zucchini noodles. If you don't have a spiralizer, a vegetable peeler works great. Roasted veggies are amazing. Lightly coat garbanzo beans in oil, seasoning of your choosing and roast at 450 until they are crunchy.

7540649 tn?1395719596 ve been eating a lot of potato based foods. I had mashed potatoes with supper yesterday, potato chips as a snack, and I was at the mall for lunch and had new York fries. I really want potato soup for supper...am I short on some kind of vitamin that's making me want potatoes so much? I used to really dislike them, because when I was broke a few years ago, they're pretty much all I could afford to eat. I'm worried that baby isnt getting enough nutrients.

Avatar f tn If you eat a lot of sugar or items with white flour, such as candies, cookies, sodas, chips, white bread, etc, you will have a hard time losing weight, especially if you don't get enough exercise. The fact that you are overweight AND eating this type of food increases the possibility of type II diabetes, high blood pressure, heart issues, stroke and any number of other health issues. So -- you can do what I did, which took a while, but I'm getting better.
7058746 tn?1393435420 t meet the diabetes educator until Wednesday. Its all about the sugar and carbs and counting them. Carbs turn into sugar so you have to make sure your not eating too many. I've found some great recipes on the diabetes association website. The internet can be scary to read but also you can find some very helpful information, there are so many recipes to choose from. Hope that helps and good luck! I'm 29 weeks with my baby girl and trying really hard to watch what I eat.

Avatar f tn his diet was squash, zucchini, sweet potato, crackers.. chips... 2 % milk, al kinds of juices, turkey, chicken, beef... fruit, mixed vegetables, ice cream, rice, oatmeal, potato, ect ect. i am wondering if the impaction is a culmination of undiagnosed allergy. has anyone gone through this ? any advice would be greatly appreciated...

They were fine by this morning but I shredded some more today and the same thing happened. I guess my questio is does this mean I shouldn't eat it or if it's just a skin thing.
