I don;'t think it is a tick. Ticks aren't usually red. What I think it is is a rec velvet mite. I have seen these in my garden and they live outside in gardens, wooded areas, etc. They are VERY small, whereas a tick is larger. If your cat goes outside, there is the chance of picking them up. They are not harmful that I know of, just you don;'t want them setting up house and raising a family in your cat's fur. Best to leave the cat indoors if you ask me.

I found what appears to be red coloring in the toilet after passing a stool for the last couple of days. I feel the same as normal, only the coloring in the water is kind of freaking me out. The actual stool itself appears fairly normal (with slight darkening from some Pepto I took for a night I ate more than I planned).

Well today I made a red velvet cake..I taste the batter which I add too table spoons of coco powder( loaded with caffeine) I had another attack .. Did anyone else become sensitive to caffeine after detoxing.. It cause my blood pressure to rise, heart pound , light headed..tight ing in throat.. ER dr told me to stay away from caffeine..
