Avatar n tn It is easy for me to surmise that it is the sulfites, because it was the inexpensive wines I had been cooking with. I have no doubt, since white wine and red wine affected me exactly the same way. Kindd explained that they have more sulfites than other wines, which I actually knew, so I knew what was making me feel like I had the flu. Avatar f tn I'm 39 weeks and had one 4 oz. glass of red wine on New Year's Eve. I honestly don't think a little in moderation can hurt, but it's also unknown how much needs to be drunk before fetal alcohol syndrome can occur, so I would keep it VERY minimal.

Avatar n tn Hey there! I don't think you need to limit yourself to a certain amount of carbs per day. I would recommend trying a high protein and high fiber diet. Also try meal planning. 483733 tn?1326798446 I took a lot of bubble baths, drank a lot of red wine, and ate a lot of carbs in the time before surgery. All I wanted was to have that darned thing out of me and to have life get back to normal. Hope you can stay relaxed. At least this posting showed that there wasn't a technical glitch. It has pretty much seemed like an epidemic lately with so many women having issues. When it got quiet the last couple of days I was worred posts weren't happening! Have a good week!

Avatar n tn There is NO ideal carb count. Each of us is different. How many carbs you can handle without having your BG go too high (140 in the USA) is different than it is for me (I eat under 50gr a day). Google "eat to your meter" that will tell you haw many carbs YOU can eat.
