Avatar f tn The only thing that is helping is Ginger ale. I have drank 2 huge glasses of it. I have also drank water. Do you think this is to much sugar for baby? I'm 34w0d.
Avatar f tn Congrats on your pregnancy. I'm 7.2 weeks today. Preggie pops, emetrol, ginger ale, powerade may help you. I hope you can find some relief soon.
Avatar n tn I know nutrition is important but sometimes I just need some carbs or ginger ale to keep from throwing up. Am I being too sensitive? I know this is his baby too but I hate feeling bad and he doesn't have any idea what my body is going through. He's very supportive about everything else and I know he just wants the healthiest baby possible. What should I do?
Avatar f tn I am 5 weeks,& 2 days its horrible at night:/
Avatar n tn Drink A Ginger Ale & eat Crackers In The Morning Also Helps!
Avatar f tn You can also try drinking a shot of ginger ale and then eat sumthin light like a bagel or english muffin to curve your nausea.
Avatar n tn I drink gallons of ginger drinks - ginger ale, green ginger wine (an inch, topped up with lots of ice and ginger ale) and non alchoholic ginger beer. The ginger does help in quelling the nausea and keeps me hydrated. I think you just need to introduce your favourite foods slowly, and one at a time to gauge their effect.
Avatar f tn Ginger pills are easier to handle than raw or pickled ginger, and the amount in ginger snaps and ginger ale is actually miniscule, and not likely to provide relief. Gravol makes a ginger pill, which would be equivalent to eating an entire batch of ginger snaps. It helped me a lot. I even drank boost once in a while, for some energy and protein. Food aversions are totally normal, I just supplemented my pre natals with calcium and iron.
Avatar f tn The only thing I drink sometimes is ginger ale, especially when I'm having a soda craving.
Avatar n tn But my fail proof morning trick had been ginger ale (in a can) and saltines with peanut butter.
Avatar f tn If you were my patient, I would advise you that studies have confirmed that ginger is effective in helping to reduce nausea and vomiting of pregnancy. Zofran is also a good medication (I see lots of the other ladies have used it with good success--me too). If you don't like medications, try frequent small meals--only eat what sounds appealing. Avoid smells that bother you. OR Vitamin B6 plus Unisom is a good over the counter combination. Good luck!
Avatar f tn I tried everything too! Sea bands worked for one day but not a day after. Failed ginger ale, ginger mints, peppermint.....After trying everything naturally, Ive moved on to supplements. Vitamin B6 100mg. This alone worked for a week but somehow stopped.I asked my boss, who happens to be a pharmacist, and he recommended combining the B6 with generic unisom (doxylamine) 10 to 12.5 mg. It works very well.the only problem is it does make you sleepy so i only take it at night.
8529755 tn?1412629642 I'm 19 weeks I'm so glad the morning sickness is over the only thing that help me was ginger ale soda
Avatar f tn Ginger tea, saltine crackers, ginger ale, wait a couple of minutes after you wake up before getting up, eat small meals but eat often, and avoid your triggers
Avatar f tn Eat crystalized stem ginger. Ginger cracks. Ginger tea. Ginger nuts. I pretty much only had a ginger diet till it past!
Avatar f tn Hello everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. I am in my 9th week of pregnancy and my nausea is back with a vengeance! It went away for 2 weeks and just came back very strong. It's so bad that the thought of eating anything just makes me sick. I've tried saltines, ginger ale etc not much seems to help except chicken soup and water :( anyone else having a similar issue? I'm 9 weeks and 3 days, first time mommy, and 26 years old. Thank you!
Avatar f tn I had similar syptoms four years ago and was diagonsed with diverticulitus if its bad I have anti biotics but when I feel it coming on I drink peppermint tea especially morning and night and now and again ginger ale. It helps and sometimes I can stop an attack before it comes too bad. I suggest you go back to your doctor and ask to be tested for diverticulitus of Irritable bowl syndrome.
Avatar f tn Keep poping those prenatal vitamins. Some say apple sauce help. And ginger ale of course. Just hang in there for a little while longer, it will get better. I start craving fruit like apple and oranges by 12 weeks. Then spicy seafood. Now at 25 weeks it's chocolate cake and milk. Can't control it, just go with the flow.
Avatar f tn m going over the edge because I refuse to drink the diet ginger ale we just stocked up on, but at least understands the no lunch meat thing. I won't have a doctor for a month, and wondering if it's safe to start prenatal vitamins now. Also wondering about the best remedy for the headaches.
Avatar f tn s house. Had diet ginger ale. Others around me only had two drinks if that. I think surrounding myself with people that don't drink or drink very little will be the key to success. It actually wasn't that big of a deal and I felt great waking up this morning!
Avatar n tn Hey im from the UK my 5th pregnancy I use ginger like ginger biscuits or ginger ale and in cooking it helps to stop the nausea...
Avatar f tn Yes ginger ale an I couldn't stand it.
Avatar f tn Keeping food in my stomach at ALL times helped me so much along with Ginger ale. You have to make sure it's made with real Ginger though there are a few brands out that just use Ginger flavoring. Read the ingredients. I always drink Canada dry. I don't know if that brand is available where you live. I also used Preggy Pops. You can get them at Target online or motherhood maternity. I had constant neausea till 14 weeks or so. I know it's not fun.
