Avatar f tn t get hungry tell about 2 hours then I ate a turkey sand witch some cucumbers and a apple for lunch 30 mins latter my stomach was growling so a ate a bowl of cereal honey bunches of oat and a apple that was like 30 mins ago and my stomach is growling again but let me eat a burger and some french fries I dont get hungry until two hours latter its hard no wonder some girls gain 50 60 pounds I even drink water all day long its just uggh 22 weeks + 3 and not trying to be fat
Avatar m tn It is always good to be hydrated before cardio workout, Just keep it to one glass. If you want to maximize your cardio try 1 banana 45 minutes before. This doesn't affect the fat that you are going to burn and will give you the energy you'll need to perfom better. Also try to eat some carbs after, honey, oat etc. This will increase the amount of glycose stored in your liver and give you more endurance the next time you're going to train.

Avatar f tn Dear your Cholesteral & LDL both are borderline high.you can add oat s/ oat meal in your routine diet . Add things rich in omega 3 & 6 . on the other side you can drink a cup of cinnamon tea in your routine . Also switch on to Arjuna Terminalia decoction --1 cup empty stomach.
Avatar n tn ll need to eat more fat and protein along with whole grain slowly digestible carbs. Avoid highly process carbs and cakes, candies, cookies - things which break down easily and will raise your sugar.. Make sure you put fat with your carbs as it also slows down the absorption. Use natural fats as much as possible. Ie butter or cream in your potatoes, cream in your coffee. Do not use low fat foods. Regular fat cheese and yogurt, etc. Eat the fat from your meats.

I don't really overeat, and the things that I do eat, I think out and try to make healthy meals, but I still ended up with gestational diabetes. Unfortunately, it's just something that happens because of all of the weird things that happen in pregnancy. I've learned to just go with it... That being said, I was advised to count how many grams of carbs that I take in and what foods contain them.
Avatar f tn Run 5-10 km dailly , 1500 kcals daily with low carbs if uou want to cut weight in a long peroid u can go for 2000 kcals faily and burn 200-300 if u want fast follow the 1500 kcals

Avatar f tn Morning take some honey with milk and a protein bar which had more protein then carbs, at 10 you can have an apple or half of another bar. Then eat just 1 chicken breast or thigh at 4 you can snack on an orange and at 7 half a bar.

Yes kept food diary for him also he had a waffle on first day for lunch second day he had a 3musketer bar at 1pm. But am sure by 9pm sugar would be lower :-( So what can the issue be if it isn't juvenile diabetes.
Avatar f tn If you want to reduce the number then think less carbs and sugars, thats how it works. The carbs/sugars in the bread and granola bar would increase your sugar. Think of it this way, carbs and sugars put in your body is fuel, like gas in car, you have to burn it somehow. I do light house work, or increase my water intake, or go for a light walk. Whats happening is your body isent using/absorbing the sugars so its just staying in your body, and it can cause the baby to gain weight faster.

I grabbed a box of these at Costco once, just thinking they were regular snacky type bars (like a Nutrigrain bar), and these things worked like a roto rooter. Give it a try - can't hurt. If it gets really bad, ask the doctor if you can take a stool softener pill each day.

Avatar n tn Try more Fiber. Fiber bars is what I use. Have a fiber cereal and or bar and eat a piece of fruit. Stay away from high carbs, they will make hunger return quicker. And allow the fiber you eat a chance to swell in stomach... Protein is another thing. Like a shake with your fiber bar. Just a suggestion. Hope it helps.

Sometimes I just need crackers, pasta, or a quick bar to grab as a snack. My favorite new find for crackers are Sweet Potato chips: Food should taste good brand. Favorite pasta is a Quinoa pasta: Quinoa Corporation. Favorite bar is Larabar: Small Planet Foods. Oskri Fiber Bar, Cashews and Cranberries is amazing and has 12 gram of fiber.
Avatar n tn Hi, insulin resistance increases during pregnancy and so numbers rise. You can try further reducing carbs (stick to carbs from veges, full fat dairy, nuts, etc) to see if this helps. A walk after eating may also help. However, likely you should be discussing with your Doctor about medications. most common medication used during pregnancy is insulin. Do not be scared of insulin. It is a great tool to get good blood sugars and to have a healthy baby.

Oatmeal is so very good for dry skin and so healthy for skin, honey has natural anti bacterial properties (which is great BC pimples are bacteria) and lemon is an awesome exfoliant it takes off the dry dead skin without being harsh or damaging. If you take a benadryl and the symptoms don't go away then its not an allergic reaction. Try the mask 2 times a day for a week and you should see a huge difference.
