Avatar f tn I'm 14 years old and do Crossfit everyday. Crossfit is intense training and working out, which I began in June of last year. In October, I had my first period, and had another in December, but haven't had it since. It's going to be 7 months without getting it, and I'm starting to get nervous. Why has it been so long, and should I go see a specialist? I'm not over weight nor am I big, I weigh 100 pounds and very muscular. Answers?
Avatar f tn Try crossfit training ....
Avatar m tn I was rather looking for any information regarding negative effects of exercise, supplements and alcohol on the microadenoma in my head, as not to aggravate it. Not just about carb and protein loading in general to gain muscle mass, and to use d-asparic acid to raise your bodys naturals test levels. That's just exercise science, consume more train more gain more.
Avatar f tn A little background, I'm a 20 year old female, very active I exercise 5 times a week at crossfit. About a year ago exactly, I was at crossfit and I turned blue, felt like I couldn't catch my breath, and came very near to passing out. If it wasn't for the nurse and combat medic I'm sure I would have passed out. Went to the doctor, they found a heart murmur, and did an EKG that just showed a "non specific ST abnormality".
Avatar f tn I am 228 lbs although some of that is most likely from joining football and a crossfit athletic program a year ago. I would ultimately like to be more fit and more agile. I love lifting because of the crossfit program (which I am no longer in because of school and other activities). I have access to the school weight room. I have a horrible diet probably because of my huge despise towards veggies (absolutely can't eat them) and my somewhat addiction to soda.
Avatar f tn and i am currently 6 weeks lifting moderate to heavy weight. I definitely dont over do it, but i work up a good sweat. Does anyone do crossfit or lift weights?
Avatar m tn My name is Alen, I am 35 years old. I am in crossfit since October 2015. In February 2017 doctors diagnose Acute Hepatitis B. Doctors told me, I can start with running, swimming, cycling in May. But, I found many scientific papers on internet about sport training and hepatitis B. And in those papers writes that there is no connection between virus and training, and I could start with training. Do you have something to suggest me.
Avatar f tn m still able to drink caffeine and energy drinks I also go to the gym and do crossfit training am I still able to do that
Avatar f tn I am 26 weeks and still do crossfit 3-4 days per week and run/walk one day a week and "off" days i still try to walk my dog. But I was doing that well before I got pregnant.
Avatar f tn ) im trying out workouts but the best one i ever did was CROSSFIT i lost 30 pounds in 4 months by doing crossfit 3times a week. Hope this was helpful.
Avatar n tn The question I have is, would it be ok to go back to my normal workout routine (Crossfit, i.e. high intensity aerobic workouts) or will I possibly wreck my lungs? How long should i wait? Anyone else had this issue? The strange thing is my symptoms were SO mild but my chest is still experiencing tightness 1 month later (after my 2nd infection). Welcome any comments from those who may had a similar experience.
Avatar n tn m tired all the time and I eat as much as possible! I am taking protein shakes 5 times a day and carb loading. I stopped exercising (when I started losing) and I don't know what else to do! I had to quit my job before summer break so I lost a couple pay checks. My stomach is growing (as are my breasts) but everything else is going away. We were trying for 6 years to have this baby and sadly, she is eating me away. Does anyone have any advice? Has anyone ever heard of bed rest at 17 weeks?

Avatar f tn s too late to go but I still wanna work out, I often put together a crossfit-inspired training session, all based on body movements so no equipment is necessary. Usually interval based. Or, like the other day I did one that was a "ladder" style of 21 reps then 15 reps, then 9 reps of three or four different movements (i.e., 21 squats, push-ups, sit ups, lunges, then 15 of each, then 9 of each) and to finish the ladder as fast as I could.
Avatar f tn Whatever type of activity you don't dread doing, I'd say is a good start for finding a form of exercise that will facilitate weight loss. For years I experimented with different gyms, running, hiking, biking, aerobics classes, squash, raquetball, rock climbing, yoga, and it wasn't until I found an activity that was fun to me (crossfit) that I really noticed a significant change. So, my advice, is to try to find something you enjoy doing and then go from there.
10515800 tn?1419227034 Before pregnancy I was very into crossfit and being in shape. Now I'm 3 weeks post partum and was wondering how long after did any of you start working out again? I'm going crazy.
Avatar f tn I joined Crossfit and I love it....It's only for an hour a day and its an intense workout but it helps and works great!
Avatar f tn I'm 5'4", 33 year old female, active in weight lifting/ cardio since 2007 and a crossfit athlete for 10 months ago. I was eating approx 1000-1300 cal for the past 2.5 years. As a result, I lost the fat I was hoping to but consequently developed hypothyroidism and amenorrhea. This august, I made an effort to correct the metabolic disturbances under the direction of a registered dietician. I increased my caloric intake to 1600 cal/day.
Avatar f tn No if you ever read articles and such they say exercise, sex, and stress are not going to cause a miscarriage. I do crossfit and I'm already ten weeks. It helps to stay active. Not to mention I bartend as well and carry heavy boxes.
Avatar f tn What is the best way to treat mild faecal loading in the stomach and how long would it take to get it cured ? the symptoms of gas and bloating are really severe in my case.
