8827648 tn?1400799478 I mean granted I am in a hospital and not expecting five star dining, but how do you make a quesadilla with NO CHEESE?!? One lady asked me did I ask for cheese on it? I asked her if I was ordering a pizza would I specifically have to ask for cheese? No its a given, the same with a quesadilla, and if they don't know what a quesadilla is they shouldn't advertise it on the menu.
Avatar f tn I crave rallys fries with a chicken quesadilla from taco bell all covered in nacho cheese! So yours sounds a bit normal to me and sounds amazing! And i dont like steak!
551343 tn?1506830518 s called Cooking with Coconut Flour - A delicious Low-carb Gluten-Free Alternative to Wheat by Bruce Fife, ND. So far everything I've made in this book has been a win. Muffins (sweet and savory), cookies, cakes, breads, pancakes... all very good. This recipe is the first one I tried and I thought I'd share it with you. It has the consistency of cornbread almost but is very mild flavored and works well with dinner or as a breakfast bread.
1666434 tn?1325262350 Nice recipe but for a t2 diabetic there a several ingredients that are a no-no. 1. White flour is a simple carb. Simple carbs are quickly digested and absorbed into the bloodstream as sugar. Whole wheat flour is a complex carb. It is a better choice. Use fine grind. 2. Read the vanilla extract ingredient label carefully. During process sometimes mfgs add sugar. 3. Also, careful with the Splenda. Do not use the "baking" Splenda as it contains sugar.

Tbd Hi, depending how long you have had diabetes, and your overall condition, losing weight and changing your diet to a strict low carb diet / keto diet, could possibly put your diabetes into remission or at worst make it very much easier to manage. The principle of low carb diet is restricting carbs, particularly all grains, sugars, starchy veges and sweet fruits, and eating a diet that focusses more on protein, low carb plant foods (veges and non-sweet fruits), some nuts, and healthy fats.
Avatar f tn I really want a cheese quesadilla but I ate all of the quesadilla tortillas I had lol
Avatar m tn And I may have a serving of ice cream at some point too. I have heard eating “low carb” can cause your blood sugar to go extra high when you do splurge on carbs, so I wonder if that is what is happening with me? I don’t know if my usual 130ish carbs counts are “low carb” though? And if this is the cause, maybe I need to eat more carbs during the week to avoid the spikes when I do splurge? Or maybe I need to totally give up the splurges?

1132574 tn?1271672466 My LLMD has me on a sugar-free-yeast free diet... I'm also vegeterian. I was pretty much born hating meat fish chicken, I never ate that stuff even as a kid, it grosses me out so adding those in is pretty much impossible for me. I'm struggling to find a salad dressing that does not call for vinegar or honey (no no's on the diet LLMD gave me). Do any of you out there have a recipe? I've tried just olive oil and some italian spices- bearable.

Avatar f tn At this time when I eat very little sugar, or higher carb cakes (I live gluten free life, but flours like white rice flour has high carbs, that I coud not avoid yet, but I'm working on it). So when I eat a self-baked gluten free biscuit with higher carb flours, I get this strange vibration. Like an earthquake inside me. What do you think, can this be a withdrawal symptom of sugar? I hope so, and just hope that it will go away when my body will adjust.

969163 tn?1281105479 Fat is not what you want on an older inactive dog. Balance carb intake with protein and you will be better off. All dog foods are pretty well balanced in this regard off the shelf. However as soon as you add potatoes and cheerios you have ONLY added carbs that will cause her insulin levels to go up and store the carb energy as fat. I would try to find a high quality canned or dry food that is - in and of itself - balanced and will be properly digested.

Avatar f tn The first diet you could try to help control your symptoms is a gluten free diet. A gluten free diet is a diet free of wheat, barley, rye and possibly oats. A gluten intolerance (which is when someone doesn't have the enzymes or not enough enzymes to break down the gluten in the above foods) can cause all of your above symptoms - PCOS, RA, hypoglycemia, etc. It's easy to look this up on the internet.
