Pepper company makes are low carb. I got some 10 calorie gingerale its got 2 carbs. Taste a step up from diet. I drink one a day from time to time. And they have these zero calorie vitamin waters that are good and super low carb to.
Avatar f tn Fatty foods are not the only ones you need to eliminate from your diet. You should also not eat foods with white sugar or flour, such as candy, pastries, cakes, cookies, sodas , etc. Are you getting plenty of exercise? You may need to ask your parents to get you tested for hypothyroidism, if you do everything possible and still can't lose weight. Your thyroid controls metabolism, so if yours isn't producing enough hormones, your metabolism won't be right either.
Avatar f tn Bread and sugar was pretty much all I ate for 3 months. I ate cookies, cake, pastries...if it was sweet, I ate it. and I had a huge carb addiction. It literally seemed like that's all I ate and I gained a decent bit of weight from it. I slowly cut out those foods and replaced them with lean meats, fish, veggies etc. I allow myself twice a week to eat a sugary snack of my choice so I don't freak out and binge on them. I didn't completely cut out breads and carbs...

Avatar f tn I have found sugar free cookies. Over thanksgiving I did a Apple pie with splenda and all my readings were fine. Try not to stress the meal plan can take some time to adjust but it's totally worth it in the end. I'm 36 week +1 and had my ultrasound today my little guy is perfect! If uncontrolled you will end up with a big baby and health issues. Hope this helps!!

Luckily the last batch self-cooked with the heat of the oven. Ahhh, yes, this will be a cookie cooking experience we'll remember for a very long time! Avatar f tn There are a ton of books out there for this, as it's quite a fad these days even for people who don't have Celiac, so I'd look into that. But cooking gluten free isn't any different from cooking with gluten unless you're making bread or cookies -- most foods don't contain gluten so you're already eating mostly gluten free unless all you eat is bread and pasta.
Avatar f tn At this time when I eat very little sugar, or higher carb cakes (I live gluten free life, but flours like white rice flour has high carbs, that I coud not avoid yet, but I'm working on it). So when I eat a self-baked gluten free biscuit with higher carb flours, I get this strange vibration. Like an earthquake inside me. What do you think, can this be a withdrawal symptom of sugar? I hope so, and just hope that it will go away when my body will adjust.

I try to limit myself and eat healthy carbs (fruits ) vs. the cookies and sweetened cereal but always find myself eating way too much cookies and/or sweets. Especially when I get the munchies.

Avatar m tn He eats a huge amount of sugary sweet foods throughout the day, sometimes coffee with sugar 3 times a day, cake donuts or cookies with that, ice cream after lunch and dinner, sundaes, cokes, carmel macchiatos, and a fair amount of high carb white breads. To top it all off, he refuses to walk or do any sort of exercise and just lays around all day and takes naps. He's in his mid 70's. How long can these 6 year old grafts last??

I haven't had lemon cookies since I was young, and I'm highly sensitive to gluten (it makes me really sick). I bought 1 box of them and ate the whole thing in 2 days. And they didn't make me sick. Avatar f tn The first diet you could try to help control your symptoms is a gluten free diet. A gluten free diet is a diet free of wheat, barley, rye and possibly oats. A gluten intolerance (which is when someone doesn't have the enzymes or not enough enzymes to break down the gluten in the above foods) can cause all of your above symptoms - PCOS, RA, hypoglycemia, etc. It's easy to look this up on the internet.

Avatar m tn t for the weight issue, my doctor would probably not have me on any medications since I am strict on my carb intake and diet. I absolutely have no sweets and switched to sprouted grain bread (no flour and has a low GI) and high fiber carbs which are better for your blood sugars. I gave up sweets, junk food, crackers/cookies/chips, ice cream for the most part with an occasional indulgance of 1/2 cup serving, and gave up rice and have only whole grain pasta.
Avatar f tn As for diet, i am not a nutritionist but something you can do is make healthier substitutes for things like cookies. you could just try any diet while you are on this exercise program and will lose around one pound a week. also, instead of drinking juice, have an actual fruit, it will provide you with fiber and will make you feel more full. DON'T DRINK SODA or eat any empty calories.
