Everyone is different. Sometimes a simple diet modification is suffice. Me, I'm a carb-o-holic. What I've found that works wonders for me is intermittent fasting. It allows me to eat some of my forbidden favorites without impacting my BG levels. There is a ton of information on intermittent fasting on the internet. The program was suggested by my wifes endocrinologist and I've never had better BG levels. its difficult at first but does become easier.

if you have an android look for the app Womanlog. I used it after coming of depo shot. it forcasts your periods and luteal phases. i was pregnant within 2.5 months using it!! you can add notes and keep track of ttc dates so you can try to figure out conception dates and what not. good luck!

I have found an app for smartphones that helps me alot with my anxiety. It is called Heal Depression Hypnosis by Kym Tolson. It cost me $4.99, I have a Droid. I just lay in bed, turn off all lights, put on my eye mask and just tune everything else out. I do this a few times a day and it has helped with my anxiety A LOT! The intro is kinda weird but listen to it to the end. Hope this helps someone, it has for me.

Using Insulin is difficult for me to explain. what is needed is carb counting, with an Insulin/Carb ratio plus insulin/BG ratio.

I'm using a different app on my Droid 2 to log my calories, and it has been syncing with the site. So I'm not sure what's wrong. Is there a syncing function on your phone (I know nothing about iPhones by the way) that needs to be changed? Is your phone connecting to the internet and syncing properly? Mine will sometimes fail to sync. Otherwise, it should work. You could try starting another account and seeing if that one works.

Ok so I do have this app o have my DROID with a calendar where I track my period, intimacy, and other notes and it calculates my fertile days and my ovulation day for me. So my question is, it shows me fertile 5days before and after my ovulation day...so if we have sex within any of those days we've got a good change of getting pregnant?? Some people deduct the amount fibre in the carbs and then use that value for counting how many carbs they eat (this is net carbs). Other people just count total carbs. i guess it depends how much detail you want to go into. Fibre should have little impact on blood sugar as by definition it cannot be digested. For weight and blood sugar management controlling how much carbs you eat each day is an essential part of management.

Hi. Is this app helpful for you when you log in your carb intake? Or is there other things that you do? I noticed I can only put if my carb is low , medium or high and it fills the plate but I'm not sure what is considered low , etc...

Wondering if anyone has or would consider developing a Droid APP for Medtronics Pacer/Defibers. I have a BiV-ICD and live alone. With the advent of smart phones, I've done away with a land line and so the telephone checkups are no longer an option. I know my unit broadcasts a signal at certain times, because my old heart in-home monitor only needed to be within 50 ft or so to pick up my pacer signal.

You really don't have to unless your high risk. But I do it just to know her sleep patterns and busy times. Right now I'm using a app called counting kicks the pic has two little feet and a purple background.
