Avatar n tn Everyone is different. Sometimes a simple diet modification is suffice. Me, I'm a carb-o-holic. What I've found that works wonders for me is intermittent fasting. It allows me to eat some of my forbidden favorites without impacting my BG levels. There is a ton of information on intermittent fasting on the internet. The program was suggested by my wifes endocrinologist and I've never had better BG levels. its difficult at first but does become easier.

1581469 tn?1297082643 Hi I am new to this site. I downloaded the app to my ipod, in hopes that it would make it easier to have the flexability to use the ipod or the computer. I thought I would be able to do this. I can't seem to figure it out. I can enter tracker info on either, but what I enter on the ipod does not show up on the website. What am I doing wrong? Or was I wrong that it would sync? I use the same login info for both devices, I thought it would be the same... any ideas??

There are a lot of dance exercises, walk in place with Leslie Sansome, yoga - all you have to do is google exercise videos and you can come up with all kinds of them that you can switch up your routine with.

Avatar m tn Some people deduct the amount fibre in the carbs and then use that value for counting how many carbs they eat (this is net carbs). Other people just count total carbs. i guess it depends how much detail you want to go into. Fibre should have little impact on blood sugar as by definition it cannot be digested. For weight and blood sugar management controlling how much carbs you eat each day is an essential part of management.

Avatar f tn Does anyone keep track of their calories for a healthy weight gain during pregnancy? I cant find an app that doesn't focus on losing weight. I want to keep track of the amount im taking in and what exactly im eating and what i need to get more of. Also i was doing some research and i found that you should consume more calories during the second and third trimester -- about 300 in the 2nd and 400 in the 3rd. Is this right?
