I now also have burning/freezing pain in both legs that is sometimes unbearable (especially at nights) and body-wide twitching 1- I have read that Cipro can have peripheral neuropathy, panic attacks and twitching as side effect that can start (or go on) even months after discontinuation of medication. I know this is more common with the oral/IV Cipro but I may have used the CiproDex for longer duration that was prescribed. I believe that I was misdiagnosed with anxiety and hyperthyroidism.

If yes, with the current symptoms and their long duration, is my neuropathy reversible? Is there anything that I can do?

The fluid is still leaking, all the time, How can the medication work if my ears wont stay dry? The fluid is probably blocking the medication from actually working. Please help me, Im afraid there is not much for me to do left, i took amoxicillin pills, dont work! Please please please.. anybody ever have this? how did u get rid of it...

I just had tubes put in both ears 6 days ago. I got the flu and had both ears infected. The pressure and pain is gone, but now I'm talks by ina tunnel and my hearing is diminished. I think I'm draining, because when I use my ciprodex drops...I swear I taste it in the back of my throat. How lucky big is this gonna last? Will my hearing go back to normal? Will the tunnel in my head stop?

The doc said there was still inflammation so he gave me 7 more days of ciprodex. Still no improvement. The third time the doc suspected it might be a fungal infection, so he prescribed me 7 days of oral fluconazole, 50mg tablets x3 a day (he actually prescribed me fungal ear drops initially but they were backordered). Hi, My friend recently found out she has Gonorrhea. I used her eyeliner straight after she used it and im concerned that i may have it now as i have read that Gonorrhea can be in the eye's and i used the eye liner inside my eye! You just have to hang in there long enough to find the right doctor who will give them to you and give you the right medications. Having married a Canandian (we live in the US) i know all too well how long it can take for Canadians to see a specialist...it took my MIL 2 months to get in to see a specialist for ALS...but she did finally get to see one. While you wait to see the rheumatologist, DEMAND from your family doctor that he/she prescribe something, anything for your pain.

Hello Jerry_NJ, Just finished reading your comments. Last year I had an eye infection. It started out as an itchy eye in my right eye. It was also very uncomfortable. I decided to go to the doctor about it. I actually went to an after hours clinic instead of going to my regular doctor because I didn't need an appointment to see a doctor at the walk in clinic. The doctor examined my eye and gave me a prescription eye ointment.

I NOW SLEEP BETTER BECAUSE I TAKE THE CONTACT LENSE OUT OF THE EYE I DIDNOT GET FIXED, WHILE THE IMPLANT IS PERMZNENTLY IN THE EYE, I CAN SLEEP WITH IT AND WAKE UP SEEYING THROUGH ONE EYE AND NOT COMPLETELY HELPLESS. STILL, FOR NOW I DESIDED NOT TO GET THE OTHER ONE FIXED, THIS WAY I ENJOY THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. Hello, Infections of urethra can be transmitted if you touch the urethra and then the eye. Red eye can be caused by conjunctivitis, uveitis, blepharitis, subconjunctival haemorrhage, corneal ulcers, contact lens wear, injury or glaucoma. Please keep the eyes clean by washing them frequently with fresh water and also put antibiotic eye drops of gentamycin or ciprofloxacin to them. Today, I used the bathroom touching myself (no noticeable outbreak) walked to the sink and started washing my hands. 5 seconds into washing a "soap blob" landed into my right eye. i have used tropìcamide 1% eye drops to treat an accommodative spasm for 4 months, 1 drop in each eye, every night. and now i see ghost images with my left eye, if i put light in my eye i see normal. i think that tropicamide damaged the sphincter muscle and the pupil remains bigger than the other eye. i have stop the treatment 3 weeks ago. is possible that tropicamide damage the muscles eye forever? im afraid. thank you very much, and sorry for my bad english!
