32 and FT4 24) and all symptoms were attributed to thyroid problem. The thyroid is back to normal now without any thyroid meds. In the past 8 months, I have been on Wellbutrin (300 mg per day for 3 weeks), Lorazepam (3 mg per day for 3 months) and propranolol (40 mg per day irregularly for 1 month). While I was taking all these meds, most symptoms disappeared. I stopped taking all medication "cold turkey" two months ago.
I know this is more common with the oral/IV Cipro but I may have used the CiproDex for longer duration that was prescribed. I really believe that I was misdiagnosed with anxiety and hyperthyroidism and a borderline hyperthyroid threw everyone off. Can I have Cipro-induced sensorimotor peripheral neuropathy? If yes, with the current symptoms and their long duration, is my neuropathy reversible? Is there anything that I can do?
I just had tubes put in both ears 6 days ago. I got the flu and had both ears infected. The pressure and pain is gone, but now I'm talks by ina tunnel and my hearing is diminished. I think I'm draining, because when I use my ciprodex drops...I swear I taste it in the back of my throat. How lucky big is this gonna last? Will my hearing go back to normal? Will the tunnel in my head stop?
If the vet said you should use it then yes, but even when you apply it in the ear it's absorbed and reachs the blood. I'd say wait and ask the vet, maybe just one drop has more drug that your dog can take...just call him on the phone and ask, it's better than spending more money if it happens to be bad for the dog!
This one seemed to improve my headaches a bit but I still experience the crackling noises daily. So I went back to the doctor for the 4th time today. To my surprise, she said she didn't see anything wrong in my ear. I also have no fever and my blood pressure is normal. To be honest my ear doesn't even really hurt anymore. It is just the headaches and the crackling that are driving me crazy.
Hey all, i had gonorrhea and got ciprodex and doxy. I noticed that my sperm is really watery and see-thru and my balls warms since then. Is it normal? Any chance i still have the gonorreah/some other infection?
You just have to hang in there long enough to find the right doctor who will give them to you and give you the right medications. Having married a Canandian (we live in the US) i know all too well how long it can take for Canadians to see a specialist...it took my MIL 2 months to get in to see a specialist for ALS...but she did finally get to see one. While you wait to see the rheumatologist, DEMAND from your family doctor that he/she prescribe something, anything for your pain.
Could have something to do with Lupus or other autoimmune since it runs in your family, it takes a long time to diagnose though, and to rule out other stuff. Even with neg ANA it can't be ruled out, next time it very well may be positive.
I have heard of people having ear infections, or infected tooth and it infect the ear. The problem is...what's the closest, and the next stop for an infection after the ear??? your brain!!! Are they sure they got rid of all your infection???
There is no trace of blood in my urine. Results of all tests I took in the past 2 years (i.e urine and culture tests, blood tests, abdominal and bladder U.S, gynecological tests, STD screening including my partner) turned out normal. I turned to professional urologists and urogynecologists, and was prescribed medication as follows: ciprodex,ofloxacin,elatrolet,toviaz,spasmex,sedural,sodium bi carbonate . Non of these drugs helped my or eased my symptoms.
But From Few Days Seein some kind of Light white or light black or light blue spot in the corner of the vision [seeing more when eye close] in right eye seeing the spot in the right side and in left eye seeing in the left side . i checked my eye with the doctor but he told nothing found in u eye so what can be this i am seeing..

Did any bodily fluids from the person you contracted it from get in your eye? There are mucous membranes in the eye which can facilitate the infection there, so yes you can definitely get the infection in the eye. I'm not a doctor, so I cant speak to whether the current antibiotics will cure it.
The eye is very slowly improving but still feels different to the other eye. Has the optometrist missed something?
Do I have a fracture, corneal oedema or anterior uveitis?
What is bruising of the eye? Shouldnt I be given something for it.? If not, will I develop other problems in the future because it was left untreated..
Someone was throwing a letter in an envelope and it hit my friend's left eye. The white part of the eye has gotten all red and he is in pain. It hurts to open the eye. Not sure if it's related but the left nostril is stuffed and runny. He's been using an eye wash and systena eye gel drops but not much improvement. He also took some advil about 2 hours ago The incident was about 4 and a half hours ago. Should he have it examined by a doctor?
Ear candles have no proven benefit in the removal of earwax or other objects in the ear and can cause serious injury. Gently rinse the ear using a bulb syringe and warm saline solution. To ease ear pain, apply a warm washcloth or a heating pad set on low. Follow the instructions for ear drops and complete your antibiotic course. You can use OTC Acetaminophen also for relief from pain.
However, if symptoms worsen, consult your doctor.

ve had a five day headache now just in the 1/4 of my head near the eye. When I look any direction but straight with my eye it sends a shooting pain through my head. blew my nose the other day and it seemed to push fluid or air into the area around my eye and made it puff up (more) and close shut right away. Im havig trouble at work the last couple days. Im dzzy all the time and feel very tired at all times despite getting enough sleep at night.
In urethritis the diagnosis can be made only by the proper collections of urine specimens from both the urethra and the bladder. These specimens will reveal the presence of white blood cells in the urethral washings, while the midstream (bladder) specimen will be free of cells. Also other tests that need to be done are swab samples and blood tests.
I would suggest a urologist’s consultation and the above investigations to be done to confirm the diagnosis.

i was vomiting and I thought some might have splashed in or near my eye (tmi sorry) so I got a bottle of water and was squeezing the water into my eye to try and clean it out a bit. after that i took a sip and then put the bottle back down. i thought "maybe i should squirt a little more" and so I took the same bottle and held it up to my eye so my eye was touching the rim and i squirted some more.
my question is... i've had testing done that says i have hsv-1.
This morning i accidently poked myself in my eye. My nail is quite long and im now in a lot of pain. opening my eye really hurts and it has just been streaming with tears for the last 2 hours. making it really hard to open every few minutes.
My other eye is very lazy and i can barely see out of it. is there anything i can do to help my eye as i work with computers.
