2- In several occasions during past months, I experienced very dry eye and nostril (right eye and right nostril) with right side severe headache. Is it possible that I have Sjogren's syndrome (father has lupus, dry eye, dry nostril, peripheral neuropathy) 3- Can it be SLE, HIV or CIDP?

I just had tubes put in both ears 6 days ago. I got the flu and had both ears infected. The pressure and pain is gone, but now I'm talks by ina tunnel and my hearing is diminished. I think I'm draining, because when I use my ciprodex drops...I swear I taste it in the back of my throat. How lucky big is this gonna last? Will my hearing go back to normal? I did a 2 week full course of Ciprodex 4 drops 4 times a day in both ears, I went through 2 bottles during this time, The Fluid leaking appears to have stopped, Going to the Ent soon to check ears and get cleared for surgery to patch the hole in my ear, It feels mighty good to have this fluid out of my ears, But I still have a fullness in my ear, However thats a whole new problem, Thank you for your response.

Hey! So this all started about two months ago when I decided it would be a good idea to self-irrigate my ear after experiencing a lot of wax. I got a syringe and some warm water and just started blasting into my right ear canal. Hey all, i had gonorrhea and got ciprodex and doxy. I noticed that my sperm is really watery and see-thru and my balls warms since then. Is it normal? Any chance i still have the gonorreah/some other infection?

Ear candles have no proven benefit in the removal of earwax or other objects in the ear and can cause serious injury. Gently rinse the ear using a bulb syringe and warm saline solution. To ease ear pain, apply a warm washcloth or a heating pad set on low. Follow the instructions for ear drops and complete your antibiotic course. You can use OTC Acetaminophen also for relief from pain. However, if symptoms worsen, consult your doctor. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Ent relented and gave me Ciprodex ear drops. Began using 3 daya ago, they seem to help, especially first 2days, but the antibiotics I was on at the time, the prescribed term to use them was up! Now the drops don't seem as effective??? In the interim saw my family doctor, she looked in both ears, said the one ear, ear dum is clear, like saran wrap, the ear that I'm having the problem with, she said looks pink and thicker, she didn't seem to have an answer!!! Any ideas???

Saturday morning, it spread to the left eye so we used the antibiotic in the left eye. From what we were told, it takes about 24 hours for her not to be contagious anymore. This morning, she woke up with what looks like blood in her eye. Almost one half of her eye (white part only) looks like it is filled with blood. I know it is probably just from a tear in her blood vessel...but could it be related directly to pink eye? It doesn't hurt her, just looks really gross!

No, wash your face and eyelids. Get some artificial tears (lubricants) and use every 30 minutes for about 2 hours. If your eye feels fine that is all you need to do. If the eye is very irritated, you can buy eye wash/eye irrigation fluid and put directly on eye to wash out any residual oil.

I went to the eye doctor not too long ago and he said I have a small pigment in my left eye. He said it was like a freakle in the eye. Could this be Retinitis Pigmentosa? Would this be a first sign of RP? If this is just a freakle can it grow to be RP?

You cannot get HIV from getting a drop (or more) blood in your eye. Most likely, it wasn't even blood at all, sounds like your anxiety is getting the best of you.

hello, have you been tested for hiv yet? I want to know as I just got semen in my eye from a guy who tells me he is negative, but refuses to take an hiv test! Is this a warning sign that I should be concerned about? Should I start the PEP-- the exposure just happened an hour ago.

I have this odd sensation for about two-three weeks in my right eye. It's a fullness sensation or swollen feeling.
