ciprodex

93654 tn?1247499334 My general practioner gave me some Ciprodex samples for pink eye. I used them for several days and just now reading the drug information which states they're not approved for use in the eye. I should have read the drug information before using them, but I assumed they were eye drops. Could they cause any problems/damage to my eyes? Should I be concerned or follow-up with my eye doctor?
Avatar m tn I now also have burning/freezing pain in both legs that is sometimes unbearable (especially at nights) and body-wide twitching 1- I have read that Cipro can have peripheral neuropathy, panic attacks and twitching as side effect that can start (or go on) even months after discontinuation of medication. I know this is more common with the oral/IV Cipro but I may have used the CiproDex for longer duration that was prescribed. I believe that I was misdiagnosed with anxiety and hyperthyroidism.
Avatar m tn I know this is more common with the oral/IV Cipro but I may have used the CiproDex for longer duration that was prescribed. I really believe that I was misdiagnosed with anxiety and hyperthyroidism and a borderline hyperthyroid threw everyone off. Can I have Cipro-induced sensorimotor peripheral neuropathy? If yes, with the current symptoms and their long duration, is my neuropathy reversible? Is there anything that I can do?
Avatar m tn I have had for the last 5 months, fluid leaking from ear, A thick yellow sometimes clear puss like fluid, Cause? Infection, I was prescribed ciprodex a week ago, Im suppose to take it for 14 days and then get surgery to patch a hole in my left ear. The fluid is still leaking, all the time, How can the medication work if my ears wont stay dry? The fluid is probably blocking the medication from actually working.

Avatar f tn Thanks for letting me know how it went with the doc. My husband had that underwater feeling at times as well and a lot of pressure. I hope it clears up soon . Is your jaw still sore and numb?
Avatar m tn Hey! So this all started about two months ago when I decided it would be a good idea to self-irrigate my ear after experiencing a lot of wax. I got a syringe and some warm water and just started blasting into my right ear canal. It didn't end up being successful as the wax never actually did come out, but I then started having earaches that have never fully healed. I've been to the doctor 4 times since then.
Avatar f tn I answered this the other day for you - https://www.medhelp.org/posts/STDs---STIs/Gonorrhea-and-seemen-color/show/3064733 It's possible you still have gonorrhea. Cipro is no longer the recommended treatment for gonorrhea. You need to get a shot for it. Let your doctor know you're having these symptoms.
Avatar m tn I had ear infection 14 months ago which was treated with ciprodex.
Avatar m tn m with Lydia, hope you can talk to someone not only for the depression but for your physical problems as well. The dryness, joint/muscle pain, fatigue are some symptoms of Lupus or autoimmune, the other stuff...wow, just haven't heard of so much wrong at same time. As far as the numbered items you have, it could be any of the three. If I had to guess I'd say #3, or something still related to the infection and maybe causing neurological problems. I do hope you find treatment!
Avatar f tn ciprodex, ofloxacin, elatrolet, toviaz, spasmex, sedural, sodium bi carbonate . Non of these drugs helped my or eased my symptoms. In addition, I went through 10 acupuncture sessions without any improvement. Drinking ample amounts of water, parsley tea and cranberry juice showed no change as well. Nothing seems to help. I don't know how to carry on from this point on, my quality of life has been impaired to a point where I can no longer recall the feeling of being well.
1899725 tn?1321500363 My 8 year son has had an ear infection for 5 weeks now. We've gone through a course of Ciprodex otic drops and a course of Neomycin/Polymyxin B ear drops. He's also been on Keflex and Augmentin. The doctor keeps telling me it's "swimmer's ear" or "just an ear infection" and should go away soon. 5 weeks of dealing with my child hurting is not soon enough. I'm actually a pediatic RN and know that this is not normal.
Avatar m tn t felling better in a couple of days, and to schedule a recheck for a week later. Thursday, my ear still felt plugged, I was getting sharp pains, and ringing so I went back to the doctor. He said that there is alot of drainage in there and it kinda looked like swimmer's ear. He also said he wasn't able to see my eardrum because there was so much drainage. He put me on Ciprodex. Here I am, 5 days after all of this started, and my ear is still plugged!!!
Avatar m tn m not sure if she used a new condom(I was drunk). The place were this happened (a small alley) is known for not that being to careful about hygene. Also for financial reasons they often use condoms(for blowjobs) more then once. Well,I'm just scared that the condom she put on me was already used and the chance for me contracting hiv if this was previously used by an hiv positive man.I never came but had plenty of precum if that might help for information).
Avatar n tn Ent relented and gave me Ciprodex ear drops. Began using 3 daya ago, they seem to help, especially first 2days, but the antibiotics I was on at the time, the prescribed term to use them was up! Now the drops don't seem as effective??? In the interim saw my family doctor, she looked in both ears, said the one ear, ear dum is clear, like saran wrap, the ear that I'm having the problem with, she said looks pink and thicker, she didn't seem to have an answer!!! Any ideas???
Avatar n tn Can I take DGL and/or digestive enzymes daily for years or indefinitely? If not, what is the maximum time recommended for treatment? Should I take them for a while, then give the body a DGL/enzyme vacation for a period of time and then resume?
Avatar f tn Metro gel is for bacteria vaginosis. Ask your doctor for appreciate treatment. They can do a ph test to see if your bacteria level is normal. Yeast looks lumpy and white work itching. 2 different treatments for the 2 conditions.
148588 tn?1465778809 I don't know anything about google maps being used for scams but I can guarantee they will be using it to increase property taxes. We googled our address and the giant koi pond, 2 new run-ins for the horses and his new unfinished garage are there as plain as day. And there are cameras popping up everywhere that can use facial recognition for law enforcement purposes.
Avatar f tn this is known as off labeling...where a drug is intended for one purpose but used for another....in this case insomnia......
611606 tn?1315517767 It was a good drug at reducing some of my pain. I used Cymbalta in conjunction with prescribed pain medication and for once I thought I was truly going to have some quality of life, without so much pain. I am very worried about you continuing this drug, but this is something you need to decide with your doctor. I had to be weaned off the drug, because I had been on it for 3 months. If you have to go off of it, I do not know if you will have to weaned off of it, also.
Avatar f tn I have been looking on the internet and I have found doxy is prescribed mostly for acne. So can it also be used for folliculitis? My situation is I took doxy for 11 days and then stopped for 3 days because it seemed to get a lot worse. My pharmacist convined me to go back on it because it takes a while to workand it gets worse before it gets better. Been on it for 24 days again now and it is still pretty bad, not as bad as when I first took it. Is this normal? How long will it take to clear up?
