I'm a big NFL fan, I live in the Chicago area, I like the Bears but I'm a Cowboys -Colts- Saints - Chargers Fan. My wife enjoys a good game with me and yells more than I do.. To sum up the NFL games, I have to say there are no bad games or teams, only some games & teams are better than others. thus my name Johniebear., I even had a cast on leg to match the Bears colors in 2006 , you can see the pic if your logged in. any other NFL fans out there?

I am curious about everyone's opinion of the sanctions imposed on the NFL coaches and players regarding "Headhunting". Were they strict enough to deter this type of behavior in the future? Were the fines large enough to cause an NFL player to think again before trying to deliberately hurt another player? I don't think one year suspension for a coach is enough if he is guilty of this but, I don't have all of the facts. What do you guys think?

well this should be a GREAT NFL season this year...man oh man there is so much drama going on with so many teams and players this year it's practically like a soap opera! From Michael VIck getting back into playing in the league, Brett Favre un-retiring again, Big Ben Roethlisberger with those ridiculous rape allegations against him, a Browns player suspended for at least the year for being convicted of a DUI homicide....the list goes on and on!

xo xo xo as for when do i post the games, i wait til a few days before the games usually- I try to post them by Thurs or Friday at the latest for the games that fall on SUnday (most do until you get into the playoffs which you have saturday games too) and theres Monday night football (just one game), sometimes they have a Thurs nite football game too. I then post the results Tues after I've tallied all the results for that week.

The problem is that when trying to do extreme movements like sprinting and swinging leg for football, i get a kind of neural pain in my left lower back/just above buttock I have seen 2 physios, had injections in my back where the doctor thought a nerve end could be being affected, and seen a sports physio who got my core stability and leg muscles in good shape. I thought it was feeling better thanks to the exercises I had been doing for the sports physio. .

My worry is that I will develop alzheimer, dementia, or a level of CTE earlier than those who did not play a sport like American football. Sometimes my emotion just runs so high during these games especially the close games. The NFL has nothing on college football yeah I like the panthers thats my pro team .
