900662 tn?1469390305 I'm a big NFL fan, I live in the Chicago area, I like the Bears but I'm a Cowboys -Colts- Saints - Chargers Fan. My wife enjoys a good game with me and yells more than I do.. To sum up the NFL games, I have to say there are no bad games or teams, only some games & teams are better than others. thus my name Johniebear., I even had a cast on leg to match the Bears colors in 2006 , you can see the pic if your logged in. any other NFL fans out there?

His blatant emotional manipulation, obvious agenda, and sickening use of innuendo made me want to lose my breakfast. Good for the NFL for not making an exception for this a**hole's dreck.
15695260 tn?1549593113 Transient Ischemic Attacks which are commonly called mini strokes have been in the news lately with former NFL star Tedy Bruschi being the victim of this health issue in early July of 2019. Avatar m tn I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.
206807 tn?1331936184 He just flushed all of his bargaining chips down the toilet so, my prediction is he will get a 1-year contract at bottom entry-level pay and will be cut if he can’t prove he can make it in the NFL. There is a big difference between College and NFL Football. At 5’9 and 175lbs, he’s got a tough Row to Hoe. I don’t feel sorry for him at all. He doesn’t have a Drug Problem, he has a Lifestyle Problem. Hde’s the one that chose to **** it all away.
Avatar m tn t have any insurance, but I went to a doctor anyway. He pulled on my leg a little and moved the kneecap around a bit and took an xray. He said there was nothing broken and that I probably bruised the tendon and gave me anti inflammatory meds. I wasn't given really any advice on what to do with it after the appointment for recovery and it just seemed like maybe they wanted me out of there. upon leaving they gave me a foam knee brace and sent me on my way.

Avatar m tn I am curious about everyone's opinion of the sanctions imposed on the NFL coaches and players regarding "Headhunting". Were they strict enough to deter this type of behavior in the future? Were the fines large enough to cause an NFL player to think again before trying to deliberately hurt another player? I don't think one year suspension for a coach is enough if he is guilty of this but, I don't have all of the facts. What do you guys think?

No I’m not.’” Back in 2009, Brown signed a $37.

Avatar f tn Hi ..right leg broken severly after 7 months no improvement in bone..
1542537 tn?1293207098 Hi, broken bones take a varying amount of time to heal, mostly depending upon the type of bone broken, the age of the person, and the way in which the bone is broken. Larger broken bones, for example the bones in the thigh, or both bones of leg would take a great deal longer to heal, usually six weeks to three months in the average healthy adult. Begin physical therapy as soon as is practical. That will help.

Avatar f tn Has anyone broken their pelvis during pregnancy? I broke mine in a car accident years ago and never had any problems with my first baby. This baby dropped at 28wks and my dr says he is almost certain this baby has broken it again. I'm scheduled for csection next week, which is a huge relief with the pain, but he said it could take 6-12wks to heal. Was wondering what other peoples experience was? Did it get better after delivery?
