Agree it should be removed but that sounds excessive!! I would check around. Haven't addressed this fir a long time but I think there are different types of stones that require different diets. You may want to look that up. It was a while ago,but when I helped with greyhound rescue, one of our Foster homes had a Grey with stones. In 2019 bolt came out in right leg and lodged so I could straighten leg, needed a revision had it done. In July 2022 left leg started swelling bolt came out and floating around, had a revision in October 2022! Last Saturday woke up to go to the bathroom couldn't straighten leg couldn't walk very painful, the bolt came out AGAIN 6 months after it was done and the threads were stripped on the bolt and it broke into pieces. Had a revision last week got home yesterday 5/5/23.
