So I've been fighting an infection for a little over a month and I'm 34 weeks pregnant. Doctor has done so many tests and everything is normal but it looks and seems like a yeast infection. She tells me to just keep taking monistat 7 days is this ok I feel like there's more she should do to try to help me..?

I am 17 almost 18 weeks and have had a yeast infection my entire pregnancy it has flared twice, went in to day for bladder issue and doctor did pap smear and said I have a yeast infection but I have no signs at all she didn't even give me medicine to make sure it doesn't start to flare. I am on probiotics which may be why it isn't bad. Has anyone else possible had this issue?

So a few days ago I noticed that my vagina was sore and that there was some white (non-smelly) on my underwear. A day later I started to itch all over down there. So I took a Diflucan pill and waited. Well the next day I still had the same symptoms. But now, the left side of my clitoris is super sore and sensitive! I always recommend the one day monostat has it has a higher concentration of medicine in it. And the yogurt to eat is probiotic yogurt (like Dannon Activia). However, it sounds like it is time to see a doctor for this. They will swab you to make sure it is yeast (which I'm guessing it is) and then they can give you a systemic pill that you take and it clears it up very quickly. So, that is my recommendation.

Are you drinking a lot of water? Also cranberry juice to help flush you out. It doesn't cure the bladder infection but supposed to help prevent them. Stay away from caffeine.

Your symptoms could be due to UTI, or urinary tract infection. The infection could be at any level from bladder to ureter to kidney. It could also be due to a stone in the urinary tract. A sonography can rule out stone. You also need is a urine culture and sensitivity test done.This will tell you what organism is causing the infection and what antibiotic will kill it permanently.

Eating yogurt helps balance ur pH levels. As well as apple cider vinegar. I've never heard of putting it in ur vagina tho.

Just before I get the yeast under control I end up with another infection. In my case this is due to the fact that I have a neurogenic bladder and currently have an indwelling catheter to ensure proper draining.
