Drink pure cranberry juice like they said but...most women get a urinary tract or bladder infection due to wiping wrong (Always wipe front to back), and/or having sex & not going pee after. A lot of people do not know it but if u wash ur hands before & after going pee (dont quote me on exact %) i heard it decreased you chance of getting any infection, (esp bladder or a common cold) by 50%.

I have a bad bladder infection and I have been taking Azo but that doesn't help at all. It won't eventeventurn my urin orange. Is there something else I can take? Anything.

Make sure you let your doctor know bc I had a bladder infection which led to a kidney infection n its the worse pain ever now instead of me taking antibiotics to fix it I have to stay on them until I deliver my baby boy which is taking pills everyday...

I'd call the Dr. Sounds like a UTI. Verrrry common during pregnancy because of the extra weight on the bladder your body cannot always properly empty the bladder, leading to infection. I'd call...no reason to suffer. Until you call though cranberry juice has been known to help with UTI issues...wouldn't recommend anything OCT though.

Normally I would start power drinking cranberry juice to pre-empt this problem but Cranberry juice just sends my blood sugar CRAZY high (gestational diabetes). Anyone have any other natural remedies so I don't have to go to the docs for a rx?

I have a bladder infection. Yes, I am on antibiotics. My questions are, can I take cranberry pills that also have vitamin C in them? And also can I drink Kefir with probiotics in it while I'm on the antibiotic?I'm trying to keep my body in balance while the antibiotics are working. I've also read that a mixture of water, vinegar and honey may help. But I'm wondering if the vinegar might be too acidic and irritate my bladder even more. Yes, I've taken those cranberry capsules. I didn't have any problems with them, but you might want to talk to your doctor about it. I tend to have recurring UTI's, which are much worse when I don't stay hydrated and keep my kidneys flushed, so if you're doing that, hopefully, you won't have an issue with infections.

It could be a urinary tract infection. This needs to be treated before it turns into a kidney or bladder infection. You can drink more (lots more), use something like Ural which neutralises the urine to stop it burning, drink cranberry juice or cranberry tablets. But if you are getting no relief within a short time of doing these things you probably need to go and see a doctor.

Cranberry juice will only help to prevent uti's. It will not make one go away, and it won't help with yeast infection.

I'm 35 weeks. I had a bladder infection last week and took and lol the antibiotics, went back today and he said it got worse! He sent me to the lab for a urine test and I should find out in a couple days why it didn't go away, but I will worry until then. Anybody had this problem?

I think cranberry juice only helps with UTI'S. Never heard of it helping with a yeast infection before.

There's some thought that in some women, that causes bladder irritation and actually makes women more prone to bladder infections. In most women, it helps. But in some women, especially those prone to irritable bladder syndrome, also called IC, the acid in the cranberry roughs up the inner lining in the bladder and makes things worse.

It could also be a bladder infection. I would call her doctor tomorrow and see what he thinks. For now, I would have her lay off of any soda and drink lots of cranberry juice and water. This will help clense out her bladder. Hope she gets to feeling better soon. Such a young age to have to deal with this stuff.
