Swollen gums toothache

Common Questions and Answers about Swollen gums toothache

swollen

I have fillings in all of my molars/wisdom teeth, & from time to time the bottom left ones will get sore for a couple of days but it's usually nothing serious. well, yesterday it was worse than usual so i put a warm teabag in my cheek to see if that would help. long story short, i went to brush my teeth about 30 minutes after i put on the tea & my gums in that area had turned blood red & were bleeding pretty badly whenever i put the brush to them.
My tooth is abscessed the infection is all the way in my bones (jaws). Got a swollen cheek and my gums are throbbing. He gave me Cleocin to take for seven days three times a day and he wants me to take Valium when I come back to see him next week to pull the tooth. I told him that I do not want any Opiates, because they do not make me feel well. I know.......I lied!!!! Sorry, but I did not want to tell him. I did not fill the Valium script, but got the antibiotics. Is Valium an Opiate?
Your desrcriptions suggest non-odontogenous toothache. There are muscular toothache, sinus toothache, neuropathic toothache, cardiac toothache, and neurovascular toothache. If ENT can not identify sinus pathology , seeing an orofacial pain specialist to investigate the source of pain is warranted.

I am 32 weeks pregnant with my 1st child and sadly I have a terrible toothache which I am going to get dealt with in a bit. I tried Orajel, cold water, warm water, compresses - you name it and nothing helped, some things made it alot worse. This morning it was so bad that I ended up searching online for home remedies out of desperation and found several articles about BAKING SODA. Yes Arm & Hammer Baking Soda. I was so desperate I tried it.
The tooth itself is mildy sensitive to pressure, but soothed by chewing or drinking hot or cold. and the swollen cheek and gums are making all the teeth on that side of my my face throb. I went to the dentist yesterday (Tuesday) and got an x-ray done. He wasn't sure what the problem is because of the lack of pain, but he didn't say anything about an absess, and referred me to an Endodontist. I won't be seeing the Endodontist for almost 4 weeks.
In 2009 I had a lot of dental work on my upper and lower teeth. I experienced not long after very painful gums and ended having two apicectomys. However, I keep suffering with severe toothache above one of my crowns which has a lump on right at the top of the gum. I have been given some gum gel to put on and wear a "guard" at night for grinding my teeth. The pain gets unbearable and funnily enough doesnt feel too bad when eating but always afterward.
4) Obviously get checked for tumors or lymph cancers (PRAY THAT YOU HAVE A NON CANCEROUS TUMOR THAT CAN EASILY BE REMOVED CAUSE THERE IS NO GOOD NEWS AFTER THIS) 5) I AM NOT A DOCTOR, THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE AND MAY NOT BE FOR EVERYONE BUT IT IS A RARE CONDITION MOST REGULAR DOCTORS WILL PROBABLY NOT THINK OF ON THEIR OWN BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH IT AND THE SYMPTOMS MASK THEMSELVES AS EAR, NOSE, THROAT, AND MOSTLY DENTAL PROBLEMS WHEN IN FACT THEY ARE NOT SO YOUR DOC MAY KEEP TELLING YO
Saturday morning when i woke up my whole left cheek and jaw were swollen pretty big. I went to the ER and was given penicillin vk 500. It's been 4 days and its barely gone down. Is this normal? My tooth that has the abcsess is broken down to the gum, if that could be why. What would i need to get done to fix this and does anyone know about the price it would cost with no insurence? Also do dentists office's set up payment plans?

Oh, I forgot to say the 7 or 8 bumps, that I have didn't start out that way... It started with swollen gums and 2 swollen bags of skin( they were larger in size) between my teeth.... when I busted the swollen abcesses... the white bumps formed.... I am at a loss at what it can be? I think my infectious disease doctor is too....

Actually I sucked him only for 1 minute and he ejaculated outside but his sperms dropped on my foot which has a small wound but not open wound. He tried also to **** me and put lot of his saliva into my butt and trying to go inside but i refused. He rubbed his penis only then asked me to sucked him again.
About a week ago I started taking Erythromycin and have been taking it as told. Now today my gums and cheek is swollen. The Dentist switched my antibiotic to Clindamycin and I just started taking that because he doesn't think the other one was working....no kidding. My question is do you think this antibiotic will kill the infection and when will the swelling go down. The appointment to have my tooth removed isn't until the 10th of april.

Three weeks later I noticed mild lymph node swelling in my groin area, then 4 days later I had mild night sweats and chills for a night or two. I also had what I think might have been ulcers on my gums, but it was also followed with a toothache around the area (i have bad dental hygiene). The lymph nodes were slightly painful to the touch but swelling decreased in a matter of days and was gone within a week. No other swelling. I know that the act was substantially lower risk than most.
From October however the glands in my neck and armpits have become swollen , I ve started having mouth problems ( bleeding gums , toothache ) , my skin and head have become spotty and the lymph nodes around my collar bone and under the jaw are intermittantly red and swollen. I attributed this to a virus and thought they would go but they arent nearly five months later.
