Just to simply rub the skin on my own arm at times is very painful to the touch. It can last from a very short time like an hr or so and at other times goes on for a day or two. Then not happen again for a couple months. I actually avoid the sun mostly due to the heat causing the MS to drain me very quickly of the energy that I may have stored up.
About 3 weeks ago a small patch of skin under the band of my bra, felt as if it were sunburnt, this sensation is now from the center of by back, between the shoulders, stretching around the side, through arm pit, over left breast to the sternum. Shingles has been ruled out. All blood testing came back normal, message aggravates area. Even pain medication does not help. I do have degenerative disc disease and have had 2 surgeries , first at age 35, a yr ago at 57.
i am 21. 2 1/2 weeks ago, while shaving, i noticed a small lump under my right arm. i figured it was a "zit" and didnt think much about it. now, the one, small lump has turned into a lump the size of a large grape and two more small lumps have developed. these are deep under the skin and at first, there was no discoloration of the skin or discomfort. but now, the skin surface above the big one is red and the whole area is very sensitive.
I have had super sensitive teeth for the past year and my jaw is moving - and no one can tell me what has caused this. I'm wondering 1. if the sensitive skin - which I believe is menopause related - will de-sensitise soon or am I stuck with this for the rest of my life; and 2. does anyone think the skin and teeth might be related? Thanks for any input. ...
These later two location have abated, but my upper right arm and shoulder are now sensitive. The right arm got better, the left arm worse, then the right arm better and the left arm worse. Now, the top of my right front thigh seems sensitive. I have fatigue even though I have been resting since Wednesday afternoon. I sometimes feel like I am about to nod off even though wide awake, a very strange feeling.
I am experiencing very sensitive to the touch patch of skin under my left arm, moving down to my elbow. It feels as if its sun burnt (but its not) or if you shave your armpits that prickly sensation when the hair just starts growing back...? When something like my tshirt brushes the patch its very painful. I began getting the uncomfortable pain while i was on vacation in the Dominican Republic on my 3rd day. I have been back in the US for 3 days now and its seems to be getting worse.
My tongue feels as though I've burned it but I havent. Its very sensitive to citrus, spicy foods and its hard to even taste the food. Its even difficult to brush because of the toothpaste, it feels like my tongue and mouth are burning. Also, at the same time the sensations started, I got small red bumps all over my mouth. Very small but visible very close up. Its almost like my lips are chapped.
The itch starts with a prickle under the skin in both upper arms. I also seem to have bumps under the skin. It begins usually when I'm beginning to rest and during sleep. Wearing wool or cashmere aggravates it. The only true relief is to numb it with ice packs!! The itch is so bad sometimes that I bleed and get red scabs. I am glad that I am not alone in this but would welcome any input from those who suffer from this as well!
The brown skin and spots under my arms never itches, however sometimes the brown skin under my belly will itch. It is very unsightly. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.
Its a hard pea-sized bump under my skin, and can be pushed around a bit. I was thinking it was a cyst, but is it normal for it to develop within 8 hours? I normally have a bit of vaginal discharge, but it seems to have increased the past few days. Any ideas for what it might be? I don't think it is an STD because i havent seen my boyfriend since the summer... so haven't had sex since then ( he has been my only partner).
Mine starts at my right shoulder and goes down arm with two very sensitive areas. It pinches and burns and itches like crazy. Nightime it gets severe. I find relief by putting icepacks over it. That really calms it down, but I would like to know what it is.
It comes back in the same shape and place under my arm and today it popped because of the way my arm was positioned, and some stuff that was not thick like pus but had the consistency of like syrup. And I squeezed it a little more then I seen blood so I stopped and now I have a tissue under my arm and theres brown stuff on it like old blood. And I also put vaseline in it and that didn't help.
I had a skin tag under my arm that was irritated, turned black & has fallen off.. the area around it now is a little sensitive & uncomfortable at times. Will this feeling go away?
My wife and daughter were also experiencing the same symptoms, less the pain under the arm. I went with my wife and got checked, he said I had a cold, checked my lymph's and found NOTHING wrong. I went on vacation and swam in the ocean and pool every day and the pains subsided. When I returned home the pain returned with a new symptom. I had a burning sensation that ran from my left underarm to my left nipple. It felt like the area just under my skin was in flames.

I have no visable skin issue but I have pain under the surface of the skin on the outer side of the foreare just ahead of the elbow. It is generally fine except when I lean on the elbow when it sends a hot shooting pain through the area. The seems to be a real sensitive point behind the elbow that sends a line of pain through the forearm area. The surface of the skin where it is sore underneath also feels a little numb.

Hello - I've had a problem for the past week where I have over sensitive patches of skin on one side of my body. Well to be specific a 2-inch square on my palm and then another patch on my right arm - just on the inner arm below the elbow. It feels like a graze-like injury - as if I have fallen on tarmac and scraped my skin - but it is not on the surface - rather just below. It is sensitive to the touch as well. Can anyone tell me what it is?
I am 46 years old and have a desk job. No injuries. Not diabetic, No skin redness, however the skin is sensitive to the touch when the nerves in my arms sting. It is really weird. My neck sometimes goes out, but at this time my neck is fine. What type of doctor should i seek out?
but i am still worried, could it be cancer? it is close to the surface of the skin, but there is nothing on the skin surface. and anyway it goes deeper than just surface it gets 'wider' the deeper you go and as if attached to the muscle. but you can feel it close to the sin surface. i have the impression the gp didn't care and maybe because of budget consideration they do not like to send you for tests. but how about my piece of mind??? should i check it further?
( Funny thing is I'm not depressed, my life was quite good until this bug showed up. I can feel them crawling under my skin, they hang out in my ear (not sure if under the skin or just in the canal) all day, it's gross. No one in the house (my wife and 3 kids) can feel them. My wife has bites all up and down her legs and even a protruded ring looking this on her forearm. As you might have imagined I'm loosing my mind and life, nothing is the same.
I will have a patch of skin become very sensitive but the skin looks perfectly normal. The best I can explain is it's feels like I've been burned and it hurts for anything to touch the area. It's happened in my foot and through out the day it moved up the whole back of my calf muscle on that leg. I've had it one my sides. Today it's happening on my right shoulder blade and the pains has moved down the back of that arm and around the front of my chest.
Now my skin feels so sensitive that I can hardly bear for my housecoat to touch it. But I am going to have to get dressed and go out because I am going to try the antehistamine lotion and pills. I'm sorry you have this problem, but am glad I read your letter 'cause I most certainly would have retaliated and told the doc just what I thought about his evaluation. Please let me know if you find anything that helps. Take care and God bless.........
For the past few weeks I've had a burning sensation whenever the skin on the underside of my arm between my armpit and elbow is touched spanning the entire length. There is NO visual indication of irritation or rash of any kind. The skin looks completely notmal, just hurts to touch...feels like a rug burn! Since this started, I've tried different brands of deoderant and laundry detergent but it has not resolved the problem.
I've never really considered the fact that the two might be linked. Thank you for this question it really makes a girl think. I've always been more prone to stress and it turns out my family (ALL of the women) lack Vit B.. which is often used to deal with stress. I always seem to get stressed out. .which causes more breakouts! I never had out of control breakouts, but I did and still do from time to time break out. My husband got me a engagement ring and it is silver.
when i peel back the foreskin(i was circumcised as a baby) I notice that there is a scar like mark maybe 2-3mm in lenght and 1mm in width and not round just ,slightly raised.IT is the same color as the rest of the skin until I pull the skin tight and then it is a lighter color and quite noticeble. It causes no discomfort I would not know it was there unless I looked.Under magnifying lens it does not have a cauliflower appearence its texture is the same as the other skin.
It is only on the right arm and the left arm is slightly red , but no pain . It does not itch , just hurts a lot when I move my arm around . They are like long red bumps that hurt on the touch . I saw a pharmacist and she said it could be a fungal infection. She said I might have to use "Lamisil Cream" , which is a lot of $$. The problem is I don't have coverage and I cannot afford this cream at the moment.
I'm a male, 41 years old, 6' 2", 200lbs. I have a lump under my left arm that feels like a wad of chewing gum the size of a walnut. It is sort of hard, and irregular. It doesn't really hurt but the skin over it feels "tight" and sensitive. It doesnt move around much. It has slowly gotton larger over the last three weeks. Ive been tired for some time and just recently started having bad night sweats. I realize the symptoms could be related, as well as not be related.
