Avatar_n_tn w/NO intentions of having more kids) I mostly want my nails to grow back after removing acrylic -- and I was going to post a question asking if you can take too many vitamins, as in prenatal vitamins?? Do you know? Also, Today is my 2nd day taking them and I already feel more energized, with my period to boot, could I be feeling them that soon?? Thanks!
Avatar_n_tn In just a couple days little tiny bumps have appeared and remained over my arms and legs and my back and stomach. When the rash began, I stopped the vitamins. I have noticed that during the day the itch is not as bad but at night the itch is worse and the bumps appear more read and full. I used some benedryl and cortisone cream one night before bed and I still fell asleep for about three hours and then woke from the itch and had to apply the cream again.
971074_tn?1362763366 vitamin D drops, gripe water, tempra, since you are breastfeeding take a prenatal vitamin still, and calcium, because baby will take all the nutrients from you. Plus make sure you stay hydrated. I found myself constantly thirsty lol.

1165096_tn?1262978474 I don't know if it's from the cold weather, I'm from FL and recently moved to NC, or if maybe it is something caused by the medications I am taking (high dosage of Motrin, stool softener, prenatal vitamins). Please help!
1858721_tn?1319821758 Are you on any medication? prenatal vitamins I have taken a pic of this if you would like to see.
Avatar_n_tn then thought that it looked like a drug reaction rash and took me off of my prenatal vitamins. It has been about 30-36 hours since my last prenatal and rash is still spreading. I am very uncomfortable and actually getting a little scared.I will be seeing a dermatologist on Monday if it has not improved by then. I have developed a sore throat and some congestion, but assuming that it is a cold developing. If you have any suggestions, please help. I'm getting desperate.

1646233_tn?1301198222 I'm only about six weeks in and because it takes so long to get an appointment here I started prenatal vitamins on my own. This is not my first pregnancy, so I figured it would be safe to take them. The day after taking them, I woke up with a rash all over my hands with pain in my fingertips. The rash almost looks like hives. I also had a bit of swelling in my mouth along with it being really dry. I didn't even think about it being related to my vitamins, so I took them again.
7732297_tn?1397450437 As for the constipation I'm 16wks 3 days and I've had it ever since I started prenatal vitamins at 4 wks I drink a glass of Apple juice either everyday or every other day and it helps out a lot, or try prune juice like Lexxus suggested.
Avatar_f_tn Is there something I can use OT that will get rid of the rashes? Can this cause by prenatal vitamins? Or Birth Control pills which I've been taking for so many yrs. This discussion is related to Very itchy, red rash spreading from abdomen to arms, legs, neck and face....
Avatar_f_tn Pee smells weird becoz of the prenatal vitamins and all. My pee smells weird too. If you aren't burning down there or no weird curd , you should be fine.

Avatar_f_tn What if it is the prenatal vitamins??? I have been taking them since I went off birth control trying to conceive. After I had my first child I continued to take them because I was breastfeeding then continued to take them because I was pregnant again and am now breastfeeding that child. Perhaps I am overdosing on too many vitamins and the reason the spots went away when I was pregnant was because the vitamins were needed then. Am I making sense? I am stopping the vitamins tonight.
Avatar_f_tn The first time I was at work and it started as a rash on my arms then turned into hives on my chest then the third day my lips were numb. I saw my gyno and she said just take benadryl and monitor. Well ive taken it pretty much everyday since and the rash went away but my eyes have been the problem now. The become so itchy and I cant stop rubbing them. Then I woke up today with them unbelievably swollen.
Avatar_f_tn I have been taking cheap OTC prenatal vitamins. I showed them to the doc. She said they where fine for now. No worries. Well I broke out all over my arms and legs. The OB didn't have clue. She said they were just bug bites. A few weeks later nothing cleared. So whent to the dermatologist. She said I'm too early (13weeks) to have that rash that some women get. She said I am allergic to either DHA or iron. So I called the OB to ask what I should be taking. Can they write me a scrip.
618297_tn?1221257053 They get worse when i take a shower and they havent seemed to go away. I was maybe thinking it was my prenatal vitamins. I am Pregnant by the way. But i dont think it has anything to do with it. If anyone knows what this might be PLEASE HELP!
Avatar_f_tn In afraid to even comb it sometimes. Dr just said keep on my prenatal vitamins n I've been taking an extra vitamin e supplement.
Avatar_f_tn Tried evertrhing from drinking Sprite, ginger ale, eating crackers, taking Zofran (broke out in a rash)... £ New to all this and wanted to know if anyone has advice or if this is just a stage.
Avatar_f_tn I have been taking pre natal vitamins for a long time, and I am more than likely that I am about 6 weeks pregnant. I took a pregnancy test the day of my missed period and it came out negative... I waited about a week and took another one. About 3 minutes after, the test came out negative. So I laid it down and watched tv. About 15 minutes later, there was a faint positive line. So I am taking precaution just in case and waiting a few more days to take another one...
1455861_tn?1447521811 I got something that might help your hair it helped mine when i lost it , I take prenatal vitamins every day it seemed to make it come back fast yet it when it came back it was a different color and straight as a board. I can't count how many times i have had blood test done and it came out neg. when it wasn't that I didn't have lupus it was because I had gone into remmision.
Avatar_f_tn This same thing happened to my sister during her first pregnancy and her doctor pretty much told her it was a rash and to put hydrocortisone cream on it and he said she basically just had to deal with it she was pretty close to her due date like you so he just said hang on a little longer and it would go away after she delivered which it did... Hope you get some answers from your doctor i would definitely give them a call.
1044916_tn?1253345563 Hello, thank you for your response. I am already taking a prenatal vitamin is it ok to add a B complex while I'm breast feeding? It definitely feels like eczema. You mentioned it could be Atopic, could food be the developed allergic condition that is causing it to break out. I really want to find out what is causing the breakouts so i can stop eating it. I am seeing my primary DR.

Also Sobey's gives prenatal vitamins for free and you get them for 2 years after baby is born too. All you have to do is go to your Sobey's pharmacy and ask for the baby be healthy program. They give a ton samples when you sign up.
Avatar_m_tn Ive been taking similac prenatal vitamins but onnly the soft gels which have only vitamin e in them not knowing I was supposed to take the white tablets also that had everything else in it. Im 24 weeks an four days and I just started taking a regular prenatal vitamin with everything in it . If I dont get enough vitamin d or calcium by the time I go in labor , will my bones break ? An is my baby going to be alright ? I need other options for vitamin d an calcium other than milk.
Avatar_n_tn - When I had my babies the doctor told me to continue taking my prenatal vitamins for 6 months to help my body heal. Are your multi-vitamins as strong as your prenatals?
Avatar_f_tn I just remembered that I wanted to tell you to make sure you are getting enough B vitamins and D vitamins. prenatal vits aren't going to have enough. I had asked my LLMD this before. She told me to just pick up some B-12 especially, but if you can find the ones with all of the B vitamins, that is good too. And you can get some of the D vitamins. Make sure you are walking a lot. this helps keep your body circulating and moving to help it fight the lyme.
Avatar_n_tn I have also been taking nifedipine (procardia) for the last couple of months for contractions, Prozac 10mg, prenatal vitamins, and Vanceril inhaler (for asthma). Only the Nifedipine is fairly new; the others I have a longer history with. Could any of these (esp. the nifedipine) be implicated in this rash? Thanks.
