I actually (this is really pathetic, I know. . . but I like a clean smell and clean carpet) asked for Christmas a year ago one of those carpet cleaners. It is a Bissell brand and was a little over a hundred dollars. You add water mixed with cleaner and you can add deodorizer as well and you wash your carpet. Works pretty well and definitely makes the carpet smell good. The other thing I do for a good smelling room is wash the walls with gains/swifter wet wipes.

Im 19 weeks and vacuum all the time. i did throughout my whole pregnancy with my son too. Most housework is fine unless your dr says otherwise. I wear rubber gloves if im using any cleaners and make sure i turn the fan on if im cleaning the bathroom.
Also remove drapes, feather pillows, upholstered furniture, non-washable comforters and soft toys. Replace carpets with linoleum or wood. Vacuum (with HEPA filtered vacuum cleaners) soft furniture and curtains as well as floor. Wash all bedding in hot water every 7 to 10 days.Pls don't use mattress pads.
With these modifications,your chances of being exposed to the allergens decreases.

What kind of vacuum does the maid service use? This is very important, because many of those professional vacuum cleaners spew out so much dust it's unbelievable. Dust is one of my worst allergies, and shows up very graphically on skin tests. You might want to ask the maid service to start using a vacuum with a HEPA filter. This greatly reduces the amount of dust going back into the air when the vacuum is running.
Then get all the bedding out and vacuum thoroughly, again into a plastic bag firmly closed. Vacuum the rugs, curtains and very specially the mattress, on the seams, tufts, or folds of mattresses, pillows,bed frames, head boards, behind baseboards, pictures, frames, windows, door casings, loosened wall paper, cracks in plaster, and behind electrical wall plates.

How can I stop them from biting my family and I. My grandsons came to visit and they have been bitten on their crotch area n the back of the butt. I don't know what to do for them...I keep a clean house here in Maine but just moved here from TEXAS and Oh my god! these things are terrible. What do I do? We have bites all over the place. I keep putting Calmine lotion, and Corn starch on their private areas but the poor boys are Miserable. What do I do?
Now she is very afraid of the vacuum in our pool. She freaks out if a toy or floatie goes near the vacuum and it is never on in her prescence. I try to reason with her and show her it is not scary but she can't get past it. Is this fear normal? How should I handle it? By the way, she is no longer afraid of the wind. She understands it now.

My dad has iching in his arms and legs I see no evidence of a rash. he works with marvel and when he cuts it with his equipment there is alot of dust not sure if it could be an alergy. he had a check up with his doctor and when he had boold work done it should that there was a problem with his thyriod and I searched online and I saw that thyriod problems could cause iching. he keeps telling me to buy him a cream or ointment but I can't do that untill I know what's wrong with him.
I always pull the tube out of the holder and withdraw the needle because of fear that I may damage some tissue, etc of my patient. However, I am informed that pulling the tube out is the last step with butterfly needle draws on the fragile veins of the hand. First, pull the torniquet, then needle with vacutainer tube attached (sometimes with vacuum still in the tubes), then finally disengage the vacutainer tube.

My 3 year old daughter started preschool in August. She had difficulty separating from me and cried for me not to leave. However, after a few weeks she got a bit better and would not cry after I left. She has developed many, many fears since turning three. She is terrified of certain elderly people and screams to get away from them. The only traumatic event I can think of is she saw my aunt being put into an ambulance at the beach during our vacation.
