I can only speak for my own self but I try not to avoid. I had HIV Anxiety as well at one point and I ended up sitting in an AIDS clinic waiting room on my lunch hour for several weeks to help get over it. We cannot control everything in our lives. The sooner a person with OCD gets that into their head the better. I don't avoid situations. I give blood all the time and of course I'm HIV negative. You are right in that you cannot get HIV from donating blood.

Is Hep C really that easy to catch? I hear stories of dried blood being able to infect someone. If you touch dried blood can it infect you with Heb C? Or do you need a cut on your hand? yes, same! Lost it at 6.5 weeks in November. I hadn't any trouble before with my first two so it was a real shock. I find every time there's extra discharge (sorry) I think it's blood! And I feel quite grateful every time a smell or a meal makes me feel nausea as that means it's still there. During most of this time I had fatty liver, however in 2018, prior to bariatric surgery and blood work and at no time was elevated liver enzymes of liver issues mentioned. Hi I just came back from my Rheumatologist's office. He prescribed Plaquenil for me. I am scared to death to take it because of the side effects. I am already loosing my vision in my left eye. But today (Aug 19th) I went to check their website to see when I was eligible to donate my blood again and to check my cholesterol and what my blood type was and it says I am ineligible to donate blood. They haven't called me yet but I am suspecting a call tomorrow. Do I have HIV???????
