Has anyone had their tinnitus disappear after antibiotic treatment? I've heard some drugs can make it worse. If so, which antibiotics helped you? Also, can bartonella cause tinnitus or is that a symptom of lyme?

I was diagnosed with HS about two years ago. It started as a few small pimples on my thighs and then under my armpits that eventually turned into nasty, inflamed, infected boils. This went on and off for a few months. My dermatologist injected corisone directly into the boils/bumps and put me on doxycycline, then oracea for about six months total.

Past few weeks I've been having odd symptoms come and go.
Started with tinnitus in one ear, headaches, Pins and needles, dizziness etc. None of which I've really had prior.
Managed to see a LLMD quite quickly and he prescribed me with 6 weeks worth of minocyline antibiotics. I've been taking them now for about 2 weeks and I do feel better, but still not 100%.
How affective is doxycycline 100mg when taken for a period of seven days to cure infections and std's present in the body alone with a shot a penicillin.
where did the pills come from?
I took Doxycycline for 10 days to treat a sinus infection. A week after finishing the Doxy I developed a sore throat and sore tongue. I'm assuming it is a reaction to the drug. How long will this stay in my system and is there anything I can take to alleviate the reaction?
I have been on doxycycline an antibiotic for about 5 days and i seem to be feeling very anxious and panic like. Does anyone know if this can cause these symptoms. I am also on 25mg of zoloft. Thanks for any help you can give me.

In the days before the surgery I had some eruption pain, and the teeth were fully impacted, and I had some mild tinnitus. However, after I got them out, the tinnitus has gotten much worse. HepB and tinnitus? Interesting thought. I have tinnitus too, in both ears.
The only way to be sure of this is to stop taking it for a time and see if tinnitus goes away. So far, I have not taken any for 11 nights and tinnitus is still the same. - A pretty much constant low-pitched noise.
How long would I have to stay off Zolpidem before knowing whether or not it is the culprit?

I am a veteran and I have lived with it for a few years now. I think there are special devices that will stoo the tinnitus. I dont have one because basically all it does it cover up the ringing sound with another sound. Is this just a pregnancy symptom? It may go away.
I've had tinnitus now for 6 months. It all started when I did a few lines of cocaine in November of 2007. Shortly after I developed serious sinus problems where I had major swelling on the inside of my nose along with pain on the bridge. And then........I woke up with ringing in my ears 1 1/2 weeks later. The ringing got louder as the sinus problems continued. Short of 3 sinus infections to date I really don't have too much to complain about with my sinuses.
