As far as drinking milk with Zoloft, again my nursing book actually recommends drinking milk with the Zoloft if you're having any GI symptoms.
Maybe the rules are different when you're pregnant, but I wouldn't sit around waiting to find out. I urge you to discuss all of this with your OB as soon as possible.

t take Eglonyl or Zoloft is because it is most likely to cause weight gain and I am already overweight and unhappy about it.
I am on my second day without tramadol and I am emotional, my stomach hurts, I cant sleep, I am really depressed, and I cant concentrate. I am trying to study for a pre-nursing exam and I cant, just typing this question is hard. I am taking withdrawl ease, tuna omega-3 oil, organically bound minerals, calcium lactate, renafood, 100mg zoloft, 40 mg adderall, and clonazepam. Do you know how long these feelings are going to last? I am really not doing well.
Long story short I have had a very rough last 4 years. I started nursing school my kids dad passed away also lost several other loved ones that I havnt even had time to grieve for yet and I have 6 children. Needless to say I have an extremely stressful life. I've made it to last semester of nursing school and was hit with severe dabilitating depression and the first panic attacks and anxiety I have ever felt in my life.
I had my baby almost three months ago and after two weeks, i started taking zoloft for post partum depression. As I have never been on any antidepressant before, i just thought i could quit taking it when i was ready. So i did. Well come to find out there are withdrawals and i should have weaned off but what was done, was done. i didn't want to start over again, just to wean off as it had been about 4 days.
I have been on Zoloft for 3 months. Currently at 100 mg for 1 month. It isn't working well for me so my pdoc is having me wean off to try something else. Her schedule is 50 mg for a week then 25 mg for a week then stop. I told her I thought that seemed too quick and I wanted to do 75 then 50 then 25 then maybe even 12.5. She says Zoloft withdrawal is not a problem and this taper is fine.
MANY women need antidepressants after giving birth as depression/anxiety after giving birth and shifting hormones is not at all uncommon. There are safe choices for nursing moms. Talk to your doctor. During pregnancy, they tend to be more cautious. But again, when the risk or need warrants it, they make the safest choice.
) As I said, I had about a 6 year battle with xanax and have been off for over a year). Last week we had to put my grandmother in a nursing home, and I went to visit her yesterday. Even with all this stuff going on with my sister I am pretty proud. I had taken all of her meds to the nursing home and given them to the charge nurse. I guess they ordered them from their pharmacy. At any rate, the nurse came in and returned the entire bag of meds to me.
I was on Zoloft for the last two months of my last pregnancy, and for the last month of this most recent one. I continued to take it for a few months after my last son was born, and I'm taking it now (my new baby is three weeks old). The risks are very low, and the benefits far outweigh the risks. I'm sure your situation is the same. Make sure you discuss the meds with your OB and your psychiatrist. It's important to continue your psych meds, as you know!
She is currently on 200 mg of Zoloft...in addition to Depekote, and Klonopin. Her RLS was being treated with a very high dose of Requip but has recently been switched to something else; some sort of patch. Nothing is working. Her life is a very sad story due to the mental illness. She lives in a nursing home because she had a stroke 4 years ago which left her somewhat physically and congnitievly (sp) impaired, and because of the mental illness she can become difficult.
I used to be on zoloft for 4 yrs and felt good...stopped for 6 months and on my 3rd week of sertraline right now not feeling as good the first time around. Is there a difference with the two drugs?
Are there any studies with substituting Tryosine or SAMe while trying to get off of zoloft? I cannot cold turkey the zoloft without withdrawel effects. Would I have to gradually add these and take simultaneously with Zoloft? Is it safe to take one or both of these with zoloft? If so, what dosage? Also, is it safe to take zoloft while taking natural harmones ( cream)?
Today I took 1 Vicodin (Labeled M367, 10/325 norco) I took my last Zoloft 14 days ago. I was on 50 mg Zoloft. I took my first Zoloft pill on December 19, 2014 and I took my last Zoloft pill on January 19, 2015.
I'm currently going through Zoloft withdrawals and have many of the typical Zoloft withdrawal symptoms. I was just wondering if taking a Vicodin will interfere with the recovery of my Zoloft withdrawal?
She decided to switch me from zoloft to Lexapro. She said I could immediatly discontinue the zoloft and start on the lexapro 10 mg. I have been feeling a little out of sorts since I have switched and i am wondering if perhaps I should taper off the zoloft and ease into the lexapro.. or does it not matter?
