I am 26 yearsold. I have always had a very healthy libido and strong attraction to females until about two and a half years ago. I don't know how long it took, but eventually my libido has diminished to nothing for the past couple years. So much so, that I do not feel sexually attracted to females (or males) and I am never "horny" or feel a need for "release".

What the urologist did is when you are on Zoloft, your sex drive will decrease. This will cause you not to ejaculate as soon as you might have off the medication. Yesterday I started my Zoloft, starting at 50mg. Within a couple hours I was shaky, which sucked since I was at work. Later that day I started to have a bit of chest pain. Once I was able to relax it went away. Later I woke up at 5am and found it a bit hard to breathe, kind of like I couldn't catch my breath. Do these symptoms sound familiar to any other Zoloft users? Do these feelings go away?
I've been to hell and back when it comes to depression medications. I've been from through Celexa, Paxil, an antipsycotic called Perphenazine, Lithium, Currently take Wellbutrin and Clonezepam and I"m about at the end of my rope. Every SSRI that I took made me totally impotent and at the age of 25 I'm not willing to give up my sex drive without a fight. I fear that I have to accept that SSRIs are the medications that I respond best to.

Gonorrhea and impotence are two different diagnoses. Your doctor seems to be on the ball...wait for your Testosterone level to return before worrying more. You are smart to tell your doctor as impotence is treatable.

s hard to tell whether the testosterone treatment worked or not since I only felt like I got better for a couple of days or a week or two, and then had problems again.
