Sertraline (Zoloft) has such side effects as erectile disfunction, decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm.
What the urologist did is when you are on Zoloft, your sex drive will decrease. This will cause you not to ejaculate as soon as you might have off the medication. It is very complicated, but I understand what your doctor is trying to do. It is very rare to treat PE like this, but I can understand it.
Tell her that you are trying it out.
I am 26 yearsold. I have always had a very healthy libido and strong attraction to females until about two and a half years ago. I don't know how long it took, but eventually my libido has diminished to nothing for the past couple years. I've been to hell and back when it comes to depression medications. I've been from through Celexa, Paxil, an antipsycotic called Perphenazine, Lithium, Currently take Wellbutrin and Clonezepam and I"m about at the end of my rope. The Docs right, first though you need some space and just relax, take a sex break, be with your g/f and tell her no mucking around for a while, the slowly get back into things and see how you get on, but take things easy you have your whole sex life infront of you, and a good relationship will last a life time, me I got married 1970 and we still have sex now I'm out of ED.

ve talked to your doctor about this? I would discuss the impotence and potential treatments. Testosterone? There are other ED meds to look into. And premature ejaculation after you finally got an erection may be psychological. Placing your mind 'elsewhere' helps at all? After all that time trying to get an erection to then try not to think about it to last longer probably seems crazy but you may want to try that.
