yaz and back pain

I apologize up front if this is in the wrong place or if someone has already asked about this. I'm just scared after reading some stuff... I have kind of been on my period for about 2 1/2 weeks, except the last week and a half have been spotting. I've been on Yaz for over a year now...for an ovarian cyst....and this is very unusual. Also, for no explainable reason, my lower back has been killing me the past couple of days. It's absolutely excruciating.

ve been off of Yaz for 2 years now and the pain is starting to come back with my period getting longer again and longer time between them. I'm debating getting back on it. She can talk to her gyn about it. I also take perscription strength Ibuprofen during my cramping days. And during that time of month when I ovulate I have the same excrutiating pain too. I take the ibuprofen then too. it helps.

Hi, YAZ birth control pill causes cholelithiasis. According to studies done, YAZ birth control pill increases the risk of gallbladder disease only marginally. But if you are symptomatic, like if you have pain in the upper right quadrant or if you develop nausea or jaundice, discuss your symptoms with your consulting doctor he may change the dose or the medications. fast forward to last year when I had to have the IUD taken out because it completely messed me up (it was sliding out, and it moved so much that it constanty poked on my uterus causing severe pain during my menses) so i was put on YAZ early last year and the NIGHTMARE began, I have gone from 118Lbs to 153Lbs!!! in a 1 and 1/2yrs and the cellulite/strech marks is also out of control!!! I can't bring myself to wear a bathing suit!!!

The doctor believes endometriosis is causing the pain on my right side and back. She put me back on Yaz (birth control). I was on Yaz for several years to control the severe PMS symptoms I was having. I got off PMS last summer when I turned 50 because I wanted to get an accurate reading of my hormone levels which are normal. It seems like once I got of Yaz I started having these problems--complex cyst, pain, etc.

It has been 7 days since my last Provera and still no period. This is my 3rd month of taking Provera and in the previous months I started my period on days 8 and days 11 while taking the provera. I take 1 pill for 10days. I noticed brown discharge like I'm about to start yesterday but that has currently stopped. I am having lower back pain, cramping and a mild headache. I'm even fatigued like I should be on my cycle. I have taken a total of 5 home preg test and all were negative.

life, Orth-low was good at relieaving my pain but it made me bloat badly and i had mood swings. Yaz was so expensive and it did not help with my pain and made my sexual urges decresse to practicly nothing although my skin cleared up and i did not bloat or have mood swings. Always remember that we have different chemical balances, what it was like for me may not be the same for you.

Hey all! I'm still alive, through the grace of God! I am on week three of Yaz and things have gotten better! I have back pain and some fatigue, but overall, I'm well! I know how to calm my anxiousness and I feel like my old self again! To God be the glory for the things He has done!

Hi, Im sixteen years old. Im perscribed to Prozac and YAZ. Ive been on Prozac for more than a year and YAZ since the summer of '09. Every since I started the YAZ back pains grew horrible. I started taking the YAZ because my OBGYN thinks I have indometriosis. For the past two months I have to be wearing a pad because I cant stop bleeding. I feel like Im sixty years old. My bones are week. I cant breath. My feet randomly go numb. When Im on the pink pill durng the month.

m just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with panic and anxiety as a result of yaz? And have you found that it even got worse when you took yourself off of it? Just today I am now feeling tenderness of my nipples, is that common too? Does anyone know how long it will take to get out of my system? Also my libido had depleted to nothing, how long should it take for that to come back?

So about a month ago i developed hives and joint pain. I went to the doctor's and they said the only thing i can do they say is to take antihistimines, use calamine lotion and anti itch creams for the itching. Sometimes i will not have any and i think they are completely gone, and then a few hours later usually at night they come back usually terribly bad all over my arms, legs, chest, back, and stomach. It gets so bad and itchy sometimes, i just cry.

The bumps are like little pimples and are rough and dry. My face has general redness over the nose and cheeks (I look like I have constant sunburn). A friend thinks I may have rosacea. The symptoms I experience have not bothered me. There's no pain, itchiness, etc. But I'm wondering if there's need to worry?

My nurse changed me to Yaz in July. As I write this I about to switch back to Yasmine and the pharmarcy has lost my presciption..so I am cying! On Yaz these were the side effects 1: Extensive, long as 3 weeks periods for the first few months '(to limit this I made sure I took it bet 8 and 9 am every morning 2: Heavy heavy bleeding with clots.

3-4 different kinds of pills, the patch, the shot and I had terrible side effects for all of those including worse pains, numbness, and my entire leg and arm tingling and going numb. But on Yaz there were no side effects and all my cysts were gone. But remember, everyone is different. Hope this was helpful!

I have pains in my chest that goes through to my back and I am having a hard time breathing. I also have sore muscles in both of my calves. I am currently take Yaz (4 weeks) and Amphcillin (3 weeks). What is wrong with me?

hey my sister took yaz for 3 months and she had bad side effects, unable to get out of the bed due to having very bad stomach pains that pepto bismo would only ease the pain for a few minutes. she had to get several tests done because of all the pain she was in, she is currently going through a lawsuit with yaz because of what it has done to her.

m unhappy with this so my OBGYN switched me to Zovia, which I do not like. My question is, could YAz and Topamax at 50-100mg, be taken together?

m wondereing if I should go back to active and inactive pills or try some type of progesterine during the end of pack and start of new. About ten years ago I took progesterine for seven days out of a month when I had low levels and problems with headaches and energy. ( I can't remember exact procedure because I moved and started with a new GYN.

Have you had your Potassium and Calcium and Vit. D levels checked? Yaz and Yasmine are not solely estrogen based and may cause elevated Potassium levels. I had low Vit. D levels and had muscle cramping and tingling from the low level. Hope you are feeling better soon.

t feel any hardening but when I press in certain areas below my belly button I can feel pain, when usually my menstrual pain is only on the left side and not the middle. I have heard that if you don't want to be pregnant you can psych yourself out but can I really make my breasts hurt this badly? I have taken 3 at home pregnancy tests that were all negative. They were the cheap ones from the dollar store but that is how my friend found out she was pregnant.

Although the pill does prevent pregnancy it still happens. However if you have been gradually becoming more irregular it could just be the pill itself. I read some posts on other forums about women getting pregnant while on yaz but I'm not sure how common it is. I was on yaz for a year and a few months (just stopped taking it recently) and had awful side effects while on the pill and from stopping it.

hello tiffany my name is brittney i noticed you are taking yaz for your endo i was told to start taking bc pills so i did research on the most effective ones and i found that yaz is one of the least effective ones and zovia (demulen eq) is one of the most effective one just something you might want to talk to your doc about!

I hate to second guess my doctor, but I am wondering how a lower dose can do better for me than Yaz? Also, I have been extremely depressed since a month or two after starting Yaz, and I turned down anti-depressants in hopes that a new medication will help with that. Does anyone know anything about personal experiences with loestrin 24 and depression?

I have been taking Yaz for about a year and a half and my body has changed extremely. I feel like I have a UTI almost every week, constipated, chills, and when I go to the doctor to get checked for anything they say it is " normal ". Is this normal? The pain is so overwhelming that it doesnt seem that way. Should I switch to a different pill or just stop taking them all together? help!!
